I was never interested in engineering. I passed KEAM entrance exam. So my parents forced me to become an engineer. Since I was interested, I thought food technology might be a good branch in engineering. So I got admission in KUFOS through allotment. The course is actually good . In the 1st year, you study basic engineering, 2nd year onwards food related courses are taught. If you are a student who only have the intention to study you will find this college easy to adjust. They provide all facilities to study. There is no particular frequency for a semester. Even though academic calender is there for each batch it is not followed properly. In this college the course may last upto 4.5 years. Due to this reason the students ask the management to cut shot semester breaks so that they won't loose 1 year.

The university has got well-experienced faculty members. The faculty members are usually appointed through the public service commission exam. while talking about the student-faculty ratio there are all required faculty members for the required area. The qualification is mandatory and they should complete their master's in appropriate subjects. The teaching method is pretty good. The university examination is usually conducted at the end of each semester and an average student can pass if he or she works hard.
Every faculties in our college was the best and highly, professionally qualified tutors we had. We had high facility lab and we were taken to visit many industries such PDDP, milma, etc.We have best teachers
They follow icar syllabus. Our 7th sem and 8th sem is all about industrial exposure programs like Inplant training and experiential learning program. Supporting faculty and the food science department is good and well experienced.
It is a govt controlled university therefore the fees structure and all are feasible compared to private sectors here the btech students has to pay yearly not sem wise so on the first year they only need to pay 30,000.
