Course Curriculum Overview:

We will get around six months for every semester. There are 2 semesters in a year. The exams are not so easy and not so difficult. I think the exams are moderate enough to check the eligibility and knowledge of the students. They modify the question paper in a way that is beneficial for the students throughout the life term. The Teachers of the law faculty of Delhi University is very excellent and they cooperate with the students They give their best to teach the students in a way that students will help in accomplishing their goals and objectives. The classes will be held regularly so that there is no hurry in completing the syllabus on time. The syllabus should be completed on time so that students get enough time to study and for revision also. The professors are very well qualified and well behaved in nature so that students will not hesitate in asking their doubts which is a positive sign of the best Institutions. There is no difficulty in getting passing marks.

Placement Experience:

There is no hype about campus placement but many of them are successful in grabbing jobs from the campus itself because most of the students opt for litigation. But many students have succeeded in placement. The highest package ever seen is 16 lacs with an average of 5 lacs. My plan after my degree is to appear in the Indian bar exams and start practicing in court.

Placement Experience:

I think law students have many paths they can take after the completion of the course. They are eligible for campus placements in their final year, and as I have not been around my batchmates or seniors offline, I have no clue of the highest or average package students has received but I think the law is not only limited to court work. Not only can they go the conventional way and become advocates, but they can go civil, corporate, arbitration, international, bank, litigation and many others. If a person has the interest, he can actually do anything he likes with the degree. Personally, I have plans to study abroad for my LL.M in International law and I cannot be more excited about my future prospect. Sky is the limit.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement cell is quite active in law faculty. The students are eligible for placements for 6 semesters. The highest package was offered was 12 lakh INR and the average package is 5-6 lakh. It is less as compared to NLUs but the status of students is raised. Students here are more for judiciary and practice rather than corporate.

How good is DUs Satyawati College?

Prajwal TiwariStudied at Satyawati College, University of Delhi

Satyawati was a part of the Delhi University campus before it was relocated to Ashok Vihar.

When you are admitted to one of the DU colleges, you place a high value on education. There are many amenities in college that other colleges do not have, one of which is the Largest Auditorium at DU.

It's a good college with friendly students. The seniors are helpful. There are numerous co-curricular societies to which one can belong. Ragging is prohibited at the college because of the anti-ragging policy. Except for a few, the teachers have extensive experience and training. The building's infrastructure is adequate, and the classrooms are also spacious. There is a fantastic library as well. The canteen is excellent. The ground is in good condition and is well-maintained.

Is Ramanujan College DU a good choice?

Mrunal KapoorStudied at University of Delhi

It would be an excellent choice. It became an independent morning college in 2013, and its growth has been phenomenal since then. Ramanujan College has it all: amazing campus life and a fantastic learning environment. NAAC has awarded it a Grade A++ and a GPA of 3.71. According to the National Institute Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2021, it is also ranked 53rd in the college category, with an overall score of 54.68.

Here are some distinguishing characteristics that set Ramanujan apart from the crowd:

  1. Excellent Location: The college is in a prime location in Kalkaji, close to Epicuria, McD, Pizza Hut, Dominoes, and other restaurants. You will never run out of places to party.

  2. Societies: This section is the college's true treasure. JAZBA, NSS, DNA, Shivranjani, Tark, TATVA, and other societies have always made the college proud.

  3. Experienced Faculty: Friendly and cooperative.

  4. Infrastructure: The building's infrastructure distinguishes it from all other DU colleges. The college has the best infrastructure in DU, with all modern amenities.

  5. Crowd: It's almost a nurturing environment, with seniors eager to assist and juniors willing to collaborate. The college environment is always pumped up with some event, campaign, rally, or other activity that inspires students.

Go ahead and enroll in Ramanujan College if you're interested in that now. You will never be regretful of your choice. You'll be presented with numerous opportunities here; all you have to do is seize them wisely. Ramanujan, as the name implies, has an excellent academic record, but the authorities are extremely strict. You must have a certain percentage of attendance in order to take the semester exam.

How good is Indraprastha College of DU in reality?

Sanjana SinghStudied at Indraprastha College for Women, University of Delhi

Seeing hundreds of girls daily can be overwhelming if you attend a co-ed school. But you'll get used to it. Despite its proximity to North Campus, it is no less than an off-campus college. The typical North campus atmosphere is missing. However, Kamla Nagar and GTB Nagar are only a few minutes away by autorickshaw.

The college canteen is not that good. It's vegetarian, and the menu isn't particularly appealing. The chole kulche and chaats available outside the college are tasty. Rolls Club, located near the metro station, serves delicious Chilli chicken rolls.

The professors, like all other DU colleges, are uninvolved concerning what you do outside of class. However, keep your attendance above 40%, at all costs. There are no language restrictions. If you don't understand something in English, teachers are willing to teach you again in Hindi. Most professors, at least.

In a semester, each paper has only two exams. There are no class tests otherwise.

There is no AC, only fans. You can go to the library for AC during your free period. The library is phenomenal for a government college. It has three floors with a lift and an online system to determine where books are kept. There is an ICT lab with internet access.

You must make your own college life enjoyable. You will meet many incredible women who will inspire you with their grace, intelligence, courage, speaking abilities, and pure hearts.

Is an MBA from DU worth it?

Gaurav Goplani
Bhoomika SharmaMBA in Global Business from University of Delhi

An MBA from FMS at DU has the same reputation as an MBA from any IIM. You will be surprised to learn that students frequently leave IIM for FMS due to its extremely low fee structure.

The Faculty of Management Studies at Delhi University also offers a two-year MBA programme. The college emphasizes practical learning by hosting workshops and internship programmes on a regular basis. FMS Delhi placement ended on a mixed note, with 100% of students receiving job offers. The average salary package was 23.20 LPA, but the highest package dropped from 54 LPA to 48 LPA.

From a batch size of 216, 198 students participated in the process, with the remaining 18 opting out. The most notable achievement for the FMS placement 2019 was an increase in the average salary for female students, which increased to 25.10 LPA from 22.6 LPA previously.

DU FMS MBA programmes are among the best in India, with high educational standards and high returns on investment.

Is it worth doing a BA in economics honors from an average college of DU?

Pragya AgrawalB.A. in Economics, University of Delhi

Many people believe that college isn't necessary for success in life. No, it does not. But those people are simply not telling the whole story. The amount of struggle you will face without a college degree is 20 times greater than what you will face with a good college degree. Working hard today will make your life easier tomorrow.

Any average college isn't worth it unless you're in dire financial need or your family's mental state is unbearable. The hype surrounding DU is unreal. All of those 52 lakh eco packages are overpriced. 5 people out of lakhs may get it; the rest must compete for a 5 lakh job.

You should never accept anything less than what you deserve. You can apply for Jamia to enter. You may apply for abroad studies. You can get a fellowship and take a year off. Do whatever it takes to stand out from the crowd and make a better career for yourself.

Is a BA programme a good course if I do it from DU?

Neha Rani
Prakriti RainaLLB from Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi

BA at DU can be BA (Program), BA (Hons), and in Honors, you can take the specialization course in Economics, Political Science, History, English, Hindi, Geography, and so on.

Furthermore, if you expect to get a higher percentage in BA courses, you are mistaken. Students at Delhi University typically receive very low grades. The average score is between 51 and 58%. It would not surprise me if someone became a University topper with only 58% of the marks.

So, just for the DU brand, choose the BA program and if you want to work in the civil service, you're on the right track.

How is B Tech at DU?

Asha NegiB.Tech Information Technology & Mathematics, Cluster Innovation Centre, University of Delhi

Cluster Innovation Center is the only Engineering Programme at the University of Delhi. You will not be studying those pointless first-year subjects that are common in almost every other engineering college. You will only study subjects related to your field.

Information technology and Mathematics are included in the curriculum. Aside from these two, you must choose your second major beginning in the second semester. There are three options: Business and Management, Electronics and Embedded Systems, and Computational Biology.

According to the curriculum, you will be required to complete month-long projects in almost every subject. Aside from that, you must complete a semester-long project in the fourth and sixth semesters. Students are generally not accepted by companies during their first two years of college due to a lack of skills and experience, so they must rely on internships provided by the college, which are of average quality.
