This course is practical based. If you want to become a researcher you can opt for it. The curriculum is perfectly designed for both research and practical. The curriculum should focus equally on practical and theoretical learning

The relevance of the course is very thorough. One gets an Honours degree in Physics & Astrophysics, studying a wide range of topics throughout the course. There is a number of societies not only in the department of Physics and Astrophysics but across the different disciplines that any student can join. For example, I got a chance to be part of the Neutronics society, also I was lucky enough to participate in a logo design competition for the society and won the joint first prize. All while studying. So there's a number of societies, and unofficial groups ranging from mountaineering society, dramatics, debate societies and a number of other societies. The subject being a very well established choice for people who tend to pursue higher education and research, campus does justice to it. The course is thorough, well designed and can easily help you crack Post grad entrances such as IIT JAM and IISER entrances.

About the campus placements there are many companies that visit our college like unacademy, byjus, Microsoft and many others. Majorly the placement are of B.com and B.A. Economics and they get package in six digit salary. On an average the package ranges from 600000-800000 LPA. But my plans are different and I am planning to study more. Therefore I will see forward towards my post graduation in physics.

It not soo good as I thought it was back then. Hansraj has a good reputation in the science field but due to bad labs, the science faculty has gone down. I chose physics as I want to become a professor in physics. Application based knowledge is less here. Only therotical aspect is provided.

The curriculum is good however due to the new education policy we also have additional unwanted subjects that add unnecessary load rest teachers are good however the labs and apparatus are poorly maintained due to which the practical aspects of the course are ruined.

Swami Shraddhanand College is located on North Campus. Because of its location and management, it cannot be compared to any other DU college.
However, when you consider the foundation of a college, namely education and extracurricular activities, in terms of education, SSNC's History Department ranks among the top ten in Delhi University for some specific courses, along with the courses like Microbiology, Life Science, Botany, and Geography, SSNC. Aside from that, there is the well-known Cricket team, which has been a champion for the past decade or so.
If you want to do English Hons at DU, you should have a good XII grade point average. If you have a talent for it, an interest in it, and have been successful at it, please go ahead and hone your knowledge of Literature. In terms of scope, after Hons with good division, you have a lot of options.
You could try your hand at publishing and work for companies like Oxford, Tata McGraw Hill Elsevier, Sage, and others. You could work in editing or marketing and have the opportunity to meet authors and develop marketing skills for book sales. After completing Hons, you may pursue a career in journalism or mass communication. You can also pursue a Masters in Public Relations, and a plethora of opportunities will open up to you once you complete the Hons course. You can earn a master's degree in a related field and sit for the civil service exam. You can also join MNCs if you develop other skills for the relevant assignment. Remember that it is a difficult course, but it is well worth it.
Satyawati was a part of the Delhi University campus before it was relocated to Ashok Vihar.
When you are admitted to one of the DU colleges, you place a high value on education. There are many amenities in college that other colleges do not have, one of which is the Largest Auditorium at DU.
It's a good college with friendly students. The seniors are helpful. There are numerous co-curricular societies to which one can belong. Ragging is prohibited at the college because of the anti-ragging policy. Except for a few, the teachers have extensive experience and training. The building's infrastructure is adequate, and the classrooms are also spacious. There is a fantastic library as well. The canteen is excellent. The ground is in good condition and is well-maintained.
It would be an excellent choice. It became an independent morning college in 2013, and its growth has been phenomenal since then. Ramanujan College has it all: amazing campus life and a fantastic learning environment. NAAC has awarded it a Grade A++ and a GPA of 3.71. According to the National Institute Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2021, it is also ranked 53rd in the college category, with an overall score of 54.68.
Here are some distinguishing characteristics that set Ramanujan apart from the crowd:
Excellent Location: The college is in a prime location in Kalkaji, close to Epicuria, McD, Pizza Hut, Dominoes, and other restaurants. You will never run out of places to party.
Societies: This section is the college's true treasure. JAZBA, NSS, DNA, Shivranjani, Tark, TATVA, and other societies have always made the college proud.
Experienced Faculty: Friendly and cooperative.
Infrastructure: The building's infrastructure distinguishes it from all other DU colleges. The college has the best infrastructure in DU, with all modern amenities.
Crowd: It's almost a nurturing environment, with seniors eager to assist and juniors willing to collaborate. The college environment is always pumped up with some event, campaign, rally, or other activity that inspires students.
Go ahead and enroll in Ramanujan College if you're interested in that now. You will never be regretful of your choice. You'll be presented with numerous opportunities here; all you have to do is seize them wisely. Ramanujan, as the name implies, has an excellent academic record, but the authorities are extremely strict. You must have a certain percentage of attendance in order to take the semester exam.
Seeing hundreds of girls daily can be overwhelming if you attend a co-ed school. But you'll get used to it. Despite its proximity to North Campus, it is no less than an off-campus college. The typical North campus atmosphere is missing. However, Kamla Nagar and GTB Nagar are only a few minutes away by autorickshaw.
The college canteen is not that good. It's vegetarian, and the menu isn't particularly appealing. The chole kulche and chaats available outside the college are tasty. Rolls Club, located near the metro station, serves delicious Chilli chicken rolls.
The professors, like all other DU colleges, are uninvolved concerning what you do outside of class. However, keep your attendance above 40%, at all costs. There are no language restrictions. If you don't understand something in English, teachers are willing to teach you again in Hindi. Most professors, at least.
In a semester, each paper has only two exams. There are no class tests otherwise.
There is no AC, only fans. You can go to the library for AC during your free period. The library is phenomenal for a government college. It has three floors with a lift and an online system to determine where books are kept. There is an ICT lab with internet access.
You must make your own college life enjoyable. You will meet many incredible women who will inspire you with their grace, intelligence, courage, speaking abilities, and pure hearts.
An MBA from FMS at DU has the same reputation as an MBA from any IIM. You will be surprised to learn that students frequently leave IIM for FMS due to its extremely low fee structure.
The Faculty of Management Studies at Delhi University also offers a two-year MBA programme. The college emphasizes practical learning by hosting workshops and internship programmes on a regular basis. FMS Delhi placement ended on a mixed note, with 100% of students receiving job offers. The average salary package was 23.20 LPA, but the highest package dropped from 54 LPA to 48 LPA.
From a batch size of 216, 198 students participated in the process, with the remaining 18 opting out. The most notable achievement for the FMS placement 2019 was an increase in the average salary for female students, which increased to 25.10 LPA from 22.6 LPA previously.
DU FMS MBA programmes are among the best in India, with high educational standards and high returns on investment.
Many people believe that college isn't necessary for success in life. No, it does not. But those people are simply not telling the whole story. The amount of struggle you will face without a college degree is 20 times greater than what you will face with a good college degree. Working hard today will make your life easier tomorrow.
Any average college isn't worth it unless you're in dire financial need or your family's mental state is unbearable. The hype surrounding DU is unreal. All of those 52 lakh eco packages are overpriced. 5 people out of lakhs may get it; the rest must compete for a 5 lakh job.
You should never accept anything less than what you deserve. You can apply for Jamia to enter. You may apply for abroad studies. You can get a fellowship and take a year off. Do whatever it takes to stand out from the crowd and make a better career for yourself.
BA at DU can be BA (Program), BA (Hons), and in Honors, you can take the specialization course in Economics, Political Science, History, English, Hindi, Geography, and so on.
Furthermore, if you expect to get a higher percentage in BA courses, you are mistaken. Students at Delhi University typically receive very low grades. The average score is between 51 and 58%. It would not surprise me if someone became a University topper with only 58% of the marks.
So, just for the DU brand, choose the BA program and if you want to work in the civil service, you're on the right track.
Cluster Innovation Center is the only Engineering Programme at the University of Delhi. You will not be studying those pointless first-year subjects that are common in almost every other engineering college. You will only study subjects related to your field.
Information technology and Mathematics are included in the curriculum. Aside from these two, you must choose your second major beginning in the second semester. There are three options: Business and Management, Electronics and Embedded Systems, and Computational Biology.
According to the curriculum, you will be required to complete month-long projects in almost every subject. Aside from that, you must complete a semester-long project in the fourth and sixth semesters. Students are generally not accepted by companies during their first two years of college due to a lack of skills and experience, so they must rely on internships provided by the college, which are of average quality.
