I choose this course on technical basis which was more suitable for me. It was an easy to do course. The semester exams conducted on every 3 months and i don't know why because they say semester is of 6 month.

As a journalism student we need more practical based education not just limiting to theories. We need to know how the camera is handled how we will react after having Mike for the very first time, we should know how to make people agree to point and how to get things done. But these are the things college or faculty thinks should be done on their own, But we need assistance

Journalism is more of artistic field to implore. Delhi School of Journalism provides that space to everyone wherein they can explore themselves, find their niche and carve it better into the students. Exams happens usually twice a year, mid sem and finals. Teaching methods could be improved a little by giving space to students and not making the environment too political for them to stand upon.

See pursuing bachelors in journalism from a government college will not provide you with practical exposure until and unless you don't pay high fees upto 1.5 lakhs in government institutions such as INDRAPRSTHA COLLEGE FOR WOMEN. Soo the exposure is well and good....there is no generic study and professors focuses us to integrate ourselves on reading scholars.

The curriculum is quite diverse, however it is not well divided and it is also outdated. If each course was taught longer than six months and there was a dissertation involved too, it would be better. The course could be more academically rigorous.

Journalism is a dynamic course, and most of the curriculum involves outdoor or indoor activity-based learning, rather than just your normal bookish approach. We have subjects like advanced photography, It's fun. There are a total of 60 students in 3rd year journalism course. The students are divided into two sections (A and B) with 30 students per section. We have professors as young as 27-28 years old as well as those who are in their 50s. Words that describe them: Extremely talented, very professional, know what they are teaching. The younger professors feel like friends and the older ones are also bearable. One good thing about the faculties is that they encourage open-minded discussions. The exams are held every 4-5 months. Passing is easy, though one will have to work hard if one needs a good cgpa.

The journalism at Kalindi College is too good. You will get the best faculty here and also a media lab helping in garnering practical knowledge in a better way. All the faculty members are highly qualified and experienced. The exams happen according to DU's schedule they are timely. The professors never miss their classes and teach every possible detail. The teachers are student-friendly and teach theoretically as well as practically. Students can go and ask them their doubts any time during college hours and even clear their doubts by taking extra classes if necessary.

The course is good, the facilities are good, there is an audio studio on the college campus, professors focus on practical learning, there is a club for communication students that is a media club that comprises a film club, photography club, podcast, and many more. The faculty here comes to have so much media knowledge also.
