They have special courses with placement years, which are longer and more expensive. Also, the job is not guaranteed in that programme too. The companies that visit the university are more related to STEM. Having experience in the sector you wish to work in provides access to more job opportunities.

Internship:

No, because I had 6 years of experience, so I am not eligible for that.

Placement:

It is tough for extensive course like mine. I am still searching for job that matches my skills and expertise.

The university experience has been good overall, but what they lack is clarity and uniformity. There is difference in opinion among teachers which is disadvantage for students. The supervisor are not readily available when you need them. Most of the staff works online. The campus life was good. Library service was excellent. Staying in On campus accommodation was a great experience. Overall satisfactory.

Placement:

The college has a very good placement offer. The college manages to reach a 100% placement record every year and the college placement offer also increase every year. The highest placement offer of the college is around 2 CrPA and the average salary offer is 60 LPA. The college placement committee members are highly experienced and they work on improving the college placement standards. They also help us in every step of college placement and they make sure that every participating member is placed.

Internship:

Work that I have done so far includes writing several blogs for an insurance and real estate company, creating many different social media graphics for several clients; and a social media strategy for a local bar and grill, which included coming up with daily posts. As for expectations for the rest of my internship, I am thrilled to be learning more every day. I have been working with very talented people

Actually, the placements are very good, but due to the pandemic, we could not get closer to the recruiters as we did not have any job fair during these difficult times.

Internship:

No, I didn't get an internship.

I figured I would enjoy it and have always aspired of studying it in order to be successful in achieving my ambition of becoming a lawyer in the future, additionally due to rules and regulations is a big aspect of society.

Placement:

There is a placement option for students if they want to do that. There are researchers in our university who actively look for students to assist them so they can gain work experience.

Internship:

I have applied for internships in many financial companies but I do not wish to disclose the names of those companies for reasons. But I can talk about the process - I actually found out about all these internships due to Linked In and I had just submitted my resume/CV and filled up some details about general info and some job specific questions. Then the companies would mail saying whether or not they think you're qualifiable for this job. Then a video call interview takes place or a phone call one and if you pass that round you will get the internship or apprenticeship. Some are paid others are not. It is better to apply for paid ones as I feel earning money can be a motivating factor to work harder and achieve more.

Placement:

Brunel has strong industry connections, helps with CV & Cover Letter generations, trains and prepares for interviews as well. Job fairs help students to network with potential job employers.
