• A First-class (GPA 3.7–4.0) or strong upper second-class (GPA 3.5–3.69) undergraduate degree with honours in engineering or a related field (e.g., physics, materials science, computer science, applied mathematics, chemistry).
• Previous Master's qualification is not required.

Country Specific Requirement

For a Strong Upper Second-Class Undergraduate degree:

• 4-year Degree: 60% (prestigious institutions) or 70% (others).
• 3-year Degree: 65% (prestigious) or 70% (others).
• Minimum GPA on Different Scale: (3.3/4.0), (5.0/7.0), (6.0/8.0), or (8.0/10.0).

For a First-Class Undergraduate Degree:

• 4-year Degree: 65% (prestigious) or 75% (others).
• 3-year Degree: 70% (prestigious) or 75% (others).
• Minimum GPA on Different Scale: (3.5/4.0), (5.5/7.0), (6.5/8.0), or (8.5/10.0).

Additional Qualifications

Prior publications may be an advantage when applying for graduate study in engineering science.

Required GPA for USA Degrees

Minimum GPA 3.5 out of 4.0.

English Proficiency Test

• IELTS Academic: Overall 7.5, with a minimum of 7.0 per component.
• TOEFL iBT (including Home Edition): Overall 110, with Listening: 22, Reading: 24, Speaking: 25, Writing: 24.
• C1 Advanced: Overall 191, with a minimum of 185 per component.
• C2 Proficiency: Overall 191, with a minimum of 185 per component.
• Oxford Test of English Advanced: Overall: 165, Minimum: 155
