- Commuting via public transport is inconvenient
- I secured my lodging based on the recommendation provided by my university's website. Although it is a private student accommodation company known as Unipol, it operates as a non-profit organization, offering student housing that provides excellent value for the cost.
- I resided in Grayson Heights, which was slightly further from the university; however, the cost-effectiveness outweighed this inconvenience, as there was a conveniently located bus stop nearby. Additionally, the rooms were spacious and situated in a high-rise apartment complex, providing a comfortable living environment.
- I opted for an executive room, which was priced at £89 per week, resulting in a total cost of approximately £420 for my stay. This room was a private space with shared communal areas, including a kitchen and washroom. It was a five-bedroom apartment with two bathrooms, which was manageable.
- Fortunately, I encountered pleasant flatmates and enjoyed my time there; however, it is important to note that if one does not find suitable flatmates, the living situation can become challenging. Therefore, it is crucial to establish clear boundaries, house rules, and agreements from the outset to ensure a harmonious living environment.

- The Education system is far more advanced and more interactive

Dislikes
- Dislikes There was hardly anything to dislike about the University as it provide everything within the premises. But yes when it comes to the classmates or colleagues you will experience competition
- Since the university is huge you will find it tiring to move from one lecture to another is it is not in the same building
- I took the university accommodation which was of 5 mins walk from the University but it was Little expensive. And it was easy to find the accommodation on the website itself which provide all the details.
- Other than that there are housing agencies which are available online to find a good accommodation and more cheaper price than that of university hostel

- International exposure, meeting people from all over the world
Dislikes
- Super cold weather, especially during winters
- Less lectures, for some subjects it was once a week
- Too much emphasis on self learning and minimal classroom teaching
- Off-campus accommodation.
- I found it through the university website.
- Monthly rent was around 500 GBP, and facilities were a personal room, shared kitchen, and toilet. It was a gated community, pretty safe.
- I did not face any challenges for securing accommodation because for international students, the university guarantees accommodation.
- My accommodation was a 15-minute walk from the college campus. Most of the Indian students stay in shared accommodations for saving on rent and also enjoying the company of people from their country.
When I applied I needed a LOR from the colleges and SOP, CV, IELTS score. If you are really good in English like from the childhood for 12th class if you got 90 marks you don't need IELTS score that I needed. If your CV and SOP is really good they will give you a confirmation letter. UK process is very easy and you don't have to wait too much. They will tell you that ya you are like given an invitation letter for the course or not and whatever like I applied for Canada also I got a very late acceptance letter when I was in Leeds so I got an acceptance letter. There is no point to get in there now. That's why I know about the UK, Netherlands and the Canada, their education system and what is the process, letters how much needed requirements so I know very well.
Not only being one of the top 100 universities in the world, University of Leeds is known for its research work. The programme I chose which is Electrical and Renewable Energy System, I could not find the syllabus that includes both generation, distribution and renewable in any other UK universities.
University of Leeds was the top of my list when applying for university. It came under 100 in top world universities. When I cleared all the required criterias, I thought no further.
It is one of the top 100 universities in the world and this is the only university under russell group which provides the combination of Electrical and Renewable energy modules together.
One of the best in UK for the programme I'm doing. Have employability fairs, but not for all programmes.
