- The first two years of our chemical engineering degrees share the same set of modules, focusing on the fundamental science and engineering concepts associated with the subject. Not only does this give students a firm foundation for their studies, but it also means that they can switch easily between our courses if they choose.
- Students will cover topics such as mass and energy balances, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, materials science, and process modeling, as well as having plenty of opportunities to put that knowledge into practice in design and laboratory work.
- At the end of year two, students will have the opportunity to complete an industrial placement or study abroad, which will extend their degree by 12 months.
