  • I don’t dislike anything about our university.

Campus Life:

Campus life and the support available to students by the university is amazing. I was never disappointed. For every problem that I faced, there was someone or something at the university that provided support.

Hostel:

Accommodation costs can vary depending on preferences. I stayed in the one which cost me £523/month. It had an en suite bathroom. The kitchen and living room were shared between 5 people.

Campus Life:

The library is very well organised and easy to navigate and the space is huge. There is a facility to book a room for meetings as well for students to work on the group projects.

Hostel:

I decided to stay in Huddersfield because Leeds is a bit expensive. My accommodation name was IQ Castings and I had an ensuite room with a shared kitchen. There was a game room, gym and laundry area available for all the residents to use and a parking space as well with additional cost. The cost of parking was £117 per week.

  • Dislikes:
  • Nothing as such, except that the city campus didn't have a ground.

Campus Life:

Campus life was great, there were many events and chances of participation for us during our course.

Hostel:

I got a studio apartment from the university it self. As I got a scholarship for my accommodation as well. It was a studio apartment with my own unit (bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and toilet). The rent for the apartment was 800 GBP Per month (Including wifi and electricity and washing bills as well) I know it sounds expensive and it is expensive as well if you are paying for your rent. If you are not paying for your rent and got a scholarship then it might be affordable to you. But I suggest if you are going abroad, go for shared apartments or apartments which are little far from city centre, but in walking distance, so that you can save a lot in transport as well as in rent. As accommodations little far from city centre are much cheaper.

Hostel:

365 pounds for sharing accommodation with a common kitchen, and living hall.

My admission was in pending with other universities due to a lack of LORs. but in LBU I got admission without LOR so I have chosen it.

I have opted for private students accomodation. It nice here and they give you free gifts time to time with some promotional event.

I liked thia University as it in tier 2 University. I was impressed by its world ranking (100-300) which was great in my budget. It has great footprint in world market.

Hostel:

I live in off-campus halls and my residence has been both good and bad. It has allowed me to gain independence in the world but also a number of things hinder my uni experience such as the halls being far away from the campus.

Because of its reputation in the local area, it's renowned as a business school and since this is what I wanted to do it was perfect. Also, it wasn't too far away from home to deter from attending as many other universities did as they were too far away.
