  • As an Adult Nurse, students will mainly work with people over the age of 16 years old, at all stages of the life cycle. Students will work with individuals, families, and communities to promote health and wellbeing, the prevention of ill-health, improve mental and physical health, and end of life care.
  • Students will gain valuable work experience with 50% of their time spent on clinical placement. The college has strong partnerships with healthcare providers so can offer a diverse range of high-quality practical learning opportunities.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

Students must have the following requirements:

  • SQA Higher - BBC/BCCC to include English or a written subject requiring the use of English. English, Maths and a Science subject are required at National 5 C if not held at Higher.
  • IB Diploma Year 1 entry - 27 to include Higher Level English (or a written subject requiring the use of English).  English,  Maths and a science subject at required at Standard Level if not held at Higher.

Indian Students Eligibility:

  • Students must have passed 12th grade from a recognized institution.
  • Students must have Grade C or better in English and Maths.
  • A post-high school qualification (i.e. a higher national diploma, an associate degree) can be considered for advanced entry to undergraduate courses. Applications will be considered on a case by case basis

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.
