Academic Requirements

• Applicants are normally expected to have a minimum of a 2:2 honours degree, or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree with 55%), in a subject associated with or of relevance to public health.
• Applicants must also have current or recent experience of working in a public health or health promotion role. This may be as your main role or as an aspect of your role. It may also be in a paid or voluntary capacity and as a professional or non-professional.

Admission Requirements

All applicants are asked to provide:

• A personal statement identifying their experience and/or knowledge and understanding of public health together with their reasons for application to the programme.
• An academic reference, preferably from an academic who has taught you in the last few years. If this is not possible, a professional reference is required.

Interview

Students may be asked to an informal interview, depending on their application information.

English Proficiency Score

• IELTS score of 6.0 overall (with no band below 5.5) is required
• TOEFL iBT score of 80, reading 20, listening 18, speaking 21, writing 19
• Pearson PTE score of 59 is required in all skills 
• English Qualifications Accepted - Indian Standard XII - For Indian students from Andhra Pradesh, CBSE, CISCE, Maharashtra, and Tamil Nadu boards, a 65% score equals an IELTS 6.0 overall, with no skill below 5.5, for courses requiring IELTS 6.0.

Estimated Amount Required to Show

Students will need to show that they have enough money for the first year of study tuition fees, and living expenses of £9,207 to cover first 9 months in the UK.
