Remarks :

The college is best suited for one who wants to enjoy the beauty of lonavala as well as to graduate with good job in hand.College provides after graduation job offers as well. SIT has the highest placement recird in Pune University

Course Curriculum Overview :

The Course consists of 4 years 8 semester. The credit system in which one has to get minimum 50 credit to eligible to the next year out of 100.The graduation course is easy once you complete the first 2 years.

Placement Experience :

The Placement of sinhgad institute is considered to be the most highest among all pune district.Last year almost 2000 students were placed into respective companies. Many MNC companies do visit Sinhgad. Although the college has issues with Mechanical core job opportunities.

College Events :

Sinhgad Karandak the biggest youth festival in pune district, sinhgad carnival, annual prize distribution ceremony through hands of renowed person during karandak. Sinhgad karandak kicks off with international DJ concert.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure as compared to rest colleges in pune district is little expensive 15000 for SY engineering, 94K for TY and 92K for BE. One has to pay all the fees during admission or can pay 50% of the fees with principals consent.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Goverment provides EBC scheme for the students who are in Open category and also Punjab Rao Deshmukh loan scheme for hostels. You have to pay only 50% of the fees if you're eligible candidate for EBC and PRD

Campus Life :

The campus in lonavala has MCA certified cricket ground where you can play/ practice red ball cricket. THE COLLEGE provide coach for every sport. There is football ground as well. A volleyball court and tennis court as well.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostels here are pretty good accommodating 4 studebts per room cot basis. One has to compulsory take mess and cant opt out. Hostel provides Wifi services after college hours. Hot water only in morning

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

The senior students are helpful with job finding process as well guiding thier juniors into selecting respective field after completing graduation. The college has alumni network where one can still apply for job interviews even after completing graduation.

Admission :

After completing diploma from sinhgad institute i wanted to be part of sinhgad institute again. I got good percentage in diploma and was lucky enough to get admission in sinhgad institute again. Once you get selected through CAP round all you have to do is come to college and physically confirm the admission.

Faculty :

The faculty here is well trained most of them are authors working for publication of books for Pune University.Most of Staff have doctroate degree in respective fields. Faculty here looks on each student individually

LIFE at VIT

Placement Experience:

Students from the 7th semester onwards are eligible for campus placements. Core Biomedical companies like GE, Medtronics, biosense etc and IT companies like TCS, JIO, INFOSYS, CAPGEMINI etc Recruit Biomedical Engineers. Most Biomedical Students prefer Masters over placements. 80 percent of students from selected candidates get placed. I will go for Placements and I will get into post graduation after clearing GATE 2023.
