Remarks :

Yes college remarks is very good and management is also helpful. At the time of placement college management is very much helpful. They just give every effort, they can give to get the student placed.

Entrance Preview :

Through JEE-mains i got the admission in HALDIA institute of technology. My rank was 1, 03, 234 in JEE-main. I want to do something that not done till now by anyone.

Internships Opportunities :

Yes, college provide internship. Specially in the field of Information Technology.

Placement Experience :

Yes, placement is nearly 70 to 80%. Many companies came to our college for their company.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fees are less compared to other private college. Fees is just like government college.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

College has its own scholarship given to the meritious student. And west bengal studentship is also offered.

Campus Life :

Campus life is very fresh. Lesser case of ragging. Workshops are nearly held every month.

Alumni/Alumna :

Senior student are very helpful in the case of study.

The most honest and unbiased review of IIEST Shibpur

Placement Experience:

Students from 7th semester onwards are elegible for campus placements. Some of the companies that visits for placements are Google, microsoft, amazon, pwc, TI, accenture, PPEL, etc. A total of 920 recruiters were there which offered 753 offers to the students and out of them around 75-78% were placed. The highest placement package was offered by microsoft for 51 lpa as PPO to 14 students and the role was IDC. The average package is around 7.5 lpa. I am planning to appear in GATE exam and go for masters in IITs after completion of my degree where i will be persuing my further studies in transportation engineering.

Overall only one thing is important is about hardwork with smart work . You have to work on your skills rest college is there to help you to show the path from your college to carrier .

Placement Experience:

From seventh semester onwards companies are coming to visit in our colleges . You will give exams in four phases that are coding , technical, aptitude and after qualifying all simple interview would be taken . Just develop your skills then surely you will get job . Highest package is about 10 lakh per annum and average is about 5 to 6 lakh per annum. The percentages of getting placed are about 60 to 70 percent . Just keep in mind that choose any language like c ++ , java , python and become pro into it . You will definitely get job .

Very appropriate college for all kind of students !! I recommend it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Tech in CSE is future proof and a very good course for IT sector jobs and I was always excited working in these companies, that's why I choose the course. There are 10-12 faculties present in every department. Each faculty is M.Tech qualified and Drs. Their teaching quality is very good. 4 internal theory and 2 Lab exams happen each semester. The questions are standard, regular, and sincere students can easily pass.

Remarks:

As seeing the college from outside i expected each room tobe AC but unfortunately it's not during the summer days it's pretty hot in the top floors but it's bearable canteen food items are cheap in respect to outside and wifi isn't free and I hate that.
