Remarks :

College is excellent from academic point of view. Ample of research and education opportunities available. A lot of focus is needed on extra curricular activities for overall development of person. Participation in inter college fests should be encouraged and sponsored. Exchange programmes should be in place.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Mbbs is a vast syllabus. Lot to study in less time. Exams are held on yearly basis. Monthly tests for individual subjects and 2 major internals before the yearly professional exam. Practical nad theory both exams are done for complete evaluation.

Placement Experience :

Yes. My college is quite reputed. The kgmu tag is helpful in future assignments and responsibilities. It has internship course of 1 year with regular clinical postings. The stipend is 10,000 to 15,000 which is on the lower side.

College Events :

Saraswati puja - pandal is erected and idol worshipped. Prasad is distributed. Then idol immersion ceremony is held. Annual fest- held for 1 week. Celebrities are invited for star night. Fresher's party - for 1st year students organised by 2nd year batch. Farewell party

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Very feasible. 50k for 1st year and 30k for the rest of the course. Online fee deposit facility is not available. Deposited in the bank branch of college. Exam fees is separately submitted. Concessions for reserved category students.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No. Sadly the scholarship facility is only present for the reserved category or physically disabled students. Whole fees is reimbursed by the government. Yearly fees is also highly subsidized for them.

Campus Life :

Labs are in excellent condition with all the required instruments and demonstrators in sufficient number. Sports facilities are good. Football, cricket, tennis, badminton, basketball, swimming is available. Extra curricular activities are ok. Can improve a lot.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel is bare enough for survival. No air conditioner is allowed. Hostels are double or triple sharing in 1st year. Single in 2nd year. Double seater in 3rd year and single seater there after. A single fan and tube light is provided. No heating or cooling equipment is allowed. Electricity charge separately payable for personal cooler. 6k for hostel yearly fees. Washrooms are just ok. 4 aashrooms for 25 people.

Alumni/Alumna :

Seniors are very helpful and supporting. They guide, motivate and provide with sufficient resources for studies, games and extra curricular activities. Alumni network is very strong. Many alumni have beeb principals, deans of many prestigious universities.

Admission :

Gave National eligibility cum entrance test (NEET-UG). Secured a 3 digit rank and attended online counselling by Medical counselling committee (MCC). Alloted college in 1st round according the preference list of colleges.

Faculty :

Some departments have very well versed, highly qualified and competent faculty while some are just average. Teaching is mainly by PowerPoint presentation in lectures. Very few faculty prefer the old white board or balck board teaching with self made diagrams. Most of my colleagues prefer the old method as it is not too fast and better for understanding purposes.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The mbbs course curriculum is indeed very tiresome and lethargic .we as medical Stuart almost always with busy with one or the other exam or posting or viva or practical or internal and most importantly the 75% of mandatory attendance In lecture and 80% attendance for practical class and since it's that tiresome profession it makes us in a way very stone hearted such that all those blood and poops or pee or a vomit doesn't affect us a lot It prepare us as strong people capable of handling real life crossroads and pressure situations because as a doctor there is a basic level of pressure that we need to handle and manage our time efficiently and the mbbs course give us enough capability for that The course I think should provide some alternative of year back based on just lack of 75% attendance as in first year the lack of attendance just ruins an entire year of a student some of the students lack attendance because of medical reasons and they are still not allowed to sit in paper

Course Curriculum Overview:

In the first year, Anatomy was my favourite subject, which is helping a lot in final year because surgery is mainly anatomy. In second year, Pharma and were given great emphasis on and because of that medicine is easier in final year third year is a breeze and there are not that many tough subject. So you can get through it and then final year paediatrics is given great emphasis on as it is in ignored by many students because it's short subject subject. There are clinical postings held and each and every case is represented to us and we get tomb our knowledge which we read and see so it's an overall great experience Exams conducted quarterly get difficult in each phase, and the most difficult exams are the pre-professional exams, which makes us test our preparation for the upcoming exams. One con of teaching methods that I would like to emphasise is that not all the departments pay emphasis on showing real cases to students for them to associate the topic with, and it should be done

Placement Experience:

After 4.5 years of MBBS course, internship follows for 1 year. The medical license is provided to the student by the Medical Council Committee of India (MCC). Now the student becomes a full-fledged doctor who can set up their own clinic or hospital anywhere all through India. Or may go to a government hospital as a resident doctor.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like the course during my school time so prefer to be a doctor. Faculty students ratio is good enough. Well-qualified doctors are available in our college. Exams are held on time and it is good enough to pass the exams with a successful rate of students passing the exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it was my childhood dream to become a doctor and want to serve the nation. Faculty is too good and knowledgeable in their fields. As the MBBS has been recorded as the course in which maximum exams are done we to have semester exams and sessionals from time to time and practicals too.
