Remarks :

As of autonomous college they still maintain a dress code. This is so weird at times. Positive thing is that the college timing is from 8A.M TO 3P.M. Student care will be wandering around the campus to check out students. Mobile phone are not permissble to use in college

Course Curriculum Overview :

Thia course is the best here when compared with other colleges. As our college is an autonomous institution we have a separate slexam structure . We write sequential 3 continuous assessement test per semester and from that 50 marks of internal marks are gained and remaining 50marks is from external.exam which we write for 100 marks at the end of each semester.

Placement Experience :

We have a gross rate of 700-800 members in placement each year in TCS and other main sources. They even conduct a placement training camp at the 4 year. Student who have a gpa of 8 and above are eligible for placement . As per internship they offer us from other companies like ford ,hyundai etc.

College Events :

We usually have different clubs within our college like rotract club, young indians club, NSS, REC ATRIUM club etc. We also conduct events on behalf of every department. Culturals will be celebrated in a grand way with celebrities as chief guest.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure is bit costly. Here they provide compulsory bus fee even if you use it or not. Per year it costs around 1.5lakhs as of me. But upcoming seats are bit more expensive. Bus fee is around 50000 . Normally all the buses are air conditioned.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The studentswho come to this college by counselling will get a scholarship . Other than that no more scholarahip has been provided here. No more scholarship has beeen provided here in this college. Loan facility can be gained by external banks only and not provided by the college.

Campus Life :

Labs are equipped with latest advancements and new technologies. Sports club is there . All typesnof sports have been played here. We have a seperate court for each game.football court is floored with grass and all.

Alumni/Alumna :

They have a well salaried job as they got placed in camupus interview conducted in our college by various companies.amazon ,zoho, tcs accenture, and other companies will come here to.hire students. Seniors will be helpfulmin projects.

Admission :

I got seat here in management quota as i am from other state .I headed straight to the college admin and requested for the seat and as of my cut off mark is about 180 i got a seat in this college. Later on we paid the fee and got the seat.

Faculty :

Facultys are so caring and deligent towards their work . The teaching perspective of each teacher is very good. The notes will be shared in classroom app we can contact them whenever we have a doubt or else for any other reasons.

Average college but a good place to study on your own

Placement Experience:

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Students who pursuing five and sixth semesters onwards are eligible to attend the placements and internship. Mostly the IT companies are visited frequently and core companies are low. The Highest package is 9LPA. The percentage of college placement is 78 percent. I planned to make higher studies after my degree.

Reality of Veltech

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Best place ever visited. My Sweet College.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
