Remarks :

No one is perfect at all. College has teachers but not in required numbers. Contractual teachers are hired to manage the vacancies.labs are not having modern machines and tools.libraries are not having recent new and foreign writers books in required number.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course of veterinary science is of five and half year with one year of internship included. Internship is with stipend perk.College follows VCI syllabus and board. There are three internal paper and one external paper with each subject having two papers.

Internships Opportunities :

Yes, it provides internship of complete one year with about 18000/- per month stipend.During this period, internae need to work on all the departments specially the clinical department like medicine, surgery, gynae etc,.This period also include regular duty in clinical hospital from morning to evening.

Placement Experience :

Job opportunity is enormous. Sky is the limit. Students mainly preferred the govt jobs under group A scaled job. Job like TVO, BVO, DVO are all officer grade jobs offered via JPSC, UPSC.Job in foreign countries like Russia, Europe is all also a big opportunity.

College Events :

Janamastmi, sarswati puja, youth fest,cricket tournament, sports fest, cultural event, university fest, kisan Mela are the most entertaining and knowledge gaining events.These events make us learn about team spirit and indulge competitive environment in us.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Feasible.I must say it is least than least. First year admission include around 12-13k annually which include all examination fees, hostel fees and everything. Rest all year having re admission with half the amount paid in first year.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Scholarship is funded by VCI. 2000/- per month and 3000/- per year for books. Toppers are provided 3000/- extra for their excellence. Loan facilities are not in my concern. Rest all the expenses done publicly managed by authorities.

Campus Life :

Boys hostel has gym ,table tennis, Carrom.Common room for recreation like television. Fast Wi-Fi and facilities of canteen too. One ground with sports building in between it having sports kit, badminton court, basketball court, volleyball court, race track.

Hostel Facilities :

I must awesome. Hostel infrastructure is all well furnished with single or double room both as option and as per the situation. Every corridor and floor has bathrooms and washrooms in well hygienic condition. 24 hour electric and water supply make u feel comfort and calm. Hostel is very close to college and lecture hall which is itself a golden path.

External Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna :

Senior and junior relationship is best part of this college. Senior loves their juniors and juniors respect their seniors. There is huge on field network of seniors working widely around the state and India.

Exam Structure :

Exam mainly conducted in two categories -internal paper and external paper. Internal paper is all conducted by the college itself and the external paper is conducted from outside the college. Paper of external comes from other college.

Admission :

Jceceb entrance examination is the gateway to this college.PCB students can apply for this course. Selection is on merit basis. Through this exam only there can be more options like agriculture(bsc),agriculture (PCM),engineering, forestry, fisheries, dairies, etc

Faculty :

Faculties are well experienced and friendly with students. Always ready solve and clear doubts. Practicals are conducted on regular basis under the guidance of HOD of department.There is a clinical complex to see the cases and patients report coming from all around the city ranchi and other cities too.

Veterinary college

Remarks:

IT is the only veterinary college in jharkhand which makes veterinarians every year to treat animals and help farmers in every ways. This college has very less number of faculty which is to be filled very shortly.
