Remarks :

Excellent infrastructure and quality staff are present. The canteen food is a bit pricey and hence students are forced to sometimes go outside campus and have food. Exam schedule can be given more time otherwise everything else is very good.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is very good. It has full coverage over the important aspects of the subject and may be it is heavy at times but it is very interesting to study the subject. There are always good books in the library and the teachers help us too.

Internships Opportunities :

Our college provides internships and they are good. But this being my first year I do not have any experience with it and hence have no firsthand knowledge about the stipend and work experience related to it. My course requires me to join other institutions for internship hence the college provided ones are of hardly any use for me.

Placement Experience :

It is the same as that of internships and hence the job opportunities and placements are not as much of a use to me as it is for undergraduate students. There are many colleges and companies that come to recruit students.

College Events :

Science days, arts days, college fest, individual department fests, random Zumba fitness dances, guests lectures, innovation cell programmes, awareness programmes, inter school and inter college sports, debates and academic competitions etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The college fee structure is affordable bordering on the edge of feasible to just expensive. But it can be justified by the amount of facilities provided by the college and the laboratory facilities along with the various workshops and external lectures that regularly take place inside the college campus.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I do not come under any scholarship scheme. This is because I am from the general category and my father does not have income in the lower categories in general. There are certain scholarships that Christian students and under privileged students benefit from.

Campus Life :

We have many cocurricular activities that the college insists us to do. We have had a Community Development Programme where we went to collect data and assess the living conditions in the poorer sections of the society as a part of our curriculum. Laboratories are important in my subject and they are very good with lots of instruments which are needed.

Hostel Facilities :

I do not stay in a hostel as because the college hostel for masters students is being made i.e. it is under construction. There are few students who stay in the hostels available and they say that they get proper food and facilities.

Alumni/Alumna :

We have very helpful seniors/alumnus who provide valuable insight into whatever we need to study or wht we need to do in order to excel. We even have alumnus who come and teach us so we also get a basic idea of what to expect when we are outside.

Exam Structure :

Exams structure is good as we get one day in between to study for our main exams and consecutive days have consecutive exams during our internal exams. One more day can be given in between to study for the main exams which have core curriculum subjects.

Admission :

I was a late admission as I came across this college when my friend recommended it. I filled up the admission form and next day my mentor called me up to confirm whether k was serious in studying in the college. I asked for two days to decide and when I said yes she asked me to join the college by next week as I had good marks in my graduation.

Faculty :

Our department teachers are extremely helpful and provide us with very good and sound knowledge of the course. They also are very understanding if we have any troubles and do not hesitate to provide notes if we ourselves cannot find any. They are also skilled in the laboratory work and we get good guidance from them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The practicals were not well taught or prioritised. it is very important for us to learn and train in Psychometry but it wasn't seen to that that every student is aware of the psychological tools. Curriculum could be more vast and the students can be made to choose their specialisations based on their merits and strengths rather than a matter of choice alone

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it particularly focuses on the clinical side of Psychology and I was always keen on learning about psychopathology. The exams are also very spread out making the students not stress about academics a lot. The practical exposure should be given and the assignments should include more research according to me.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the course because I had an AIM for that as my career. I wanted it to be my passion, source of income, etc. The faculty were all more than 5 years of experience and in my batch, 70 students were there. The best about the teaching is that they are so smoothly with the syllabus. The term tests were conducted based on the completion of 3 - 4 chapters. The level of difficulty was moderate also they used to guide where we had done a mistake. And overall teaching is good.
