Remarks :

VMOU University is located in Kota and has regional offices across the state. I did my Masters in Pol. Science from the Vardhman Mahaveer Open University (VMOU) while working in a BPO. It is a nice option to have a certification course for students who can’t commit 7-8 hours from their daily routine. Faculty and placements are good. Overall it's a nice place to advance your academics.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum was quite thorough. First-year had 4 courses, while the final year had five-course. It covered the majority of the topics within the given time period. Our exams were held annually.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

MA Political Science, 1-year fee was INR 6400. Which is pretty basic as compared to other state universities. University also provides study material for exam preparation.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I am not sure about the scholarship process. Rajasthan govt. offers many grants and fellowship options for students belonging to Rajasthan and outside of Rajasthan. One can check the necessary details on the official website.

Campus Life :

Our classes were held at the regional centers within the state. We were like the guest students, occasionally showing up for practicals, exams and doubt clearing sessions. We didn't have enough time to have a campus life.

Exam Structure :

Our exams were held annually. Each course was of (maximum) 100 marks. Each course consists of a varying combination of Practicals, theory, dissertation, etc.

Admission :

University organizes the entrance test for the admission process, twice a year. I applied to Vardhman University via online mode. I paid the application fee and uploaded all the mandatory documents. After that, I waited for a few days, after which I received confirmation regarding my admission.

Faculty :

All the faculty members were qualified for their concerned jobs. Apart from the classroom teachings, different doubt clearing sessions were also held which were quite helpful for students.

Remarks:

There were several good facilities like a huge playground, good WiFi connection, but the university lacked in terms of technology. However, there was a computer lab with an average internet connection, and the teacher used to say that usage of the internet was prohibited.

Best college with the best staff

Admission:

Tantian university is known. The admission process is offline for all courses. Admission form is available online on the official website. The student has to complete eta e a graduation course with relevant subjects. After submitting the application form selection is done on merit basis. After admission student has to submit all required documents.

Placement Experience:

There are so many job opportunities for students. Companies provide openings. Also, students specialize skill can easily apply for jobs in companies and government jobs too. College provides all information about jobs and support.
