Course Curriculum Overview :

Accountancy, Cost Account, Statistics, Management, Marketing, Finance, and its related subjects are taught in the BCom course which I have done from this college, its a 3 years full-time degree course and the course curriculum and the exam structure both were good.

Placement Experience :

The highly active Placement Cell of the College works enthusiastically. Training for Effective Communication, facing the Interview Board, Group Discussions are provided by the cell. Many Banking, Corporate Sector, Insurance, MNCs and other Services Sectors regularly visit the college for the placement.

College Events :

The college organizes many events from time to time as it helps students to grow in academics as well as in their personality development. The college has celebrated many event during my course like the Youth and Heritage Festival which is a university-level program, apart from this Hindi divas, "Not me but you" by the NSS unit present in the college and the Blood Donation Camp was also organized.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There are many scholarships provided by the college in which there is some financial support provided by the college, there is some financial assistance also provided by the government but it totally depends on the student's financial conditions and even on the academic performance as well.

Campus Life :

The college campus of the DAV, Hoshiarpur is very big and very well infrastructured and laced with all the necessary facilities in which there is a very well designed canteen in which tasty and healthy food and snacks are served, a big playground in which there are many sports and games competitions are organized.

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes, our college has an alumni association present in the college which organizes ameeting of the former students who are not only proud of but also feel indebted to their alma mater. Alumni association welcome evry student whoever has been part of the college.

Admission :

Admission is purely based on the Punjab University Guidelines. I got admission on the basis of my intermediate score, first of all, I visited the college and filled the application form at the admission counter and submitted it with the required documents for the admission.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Firstly every course have different fee structure. As my course is BCOM so i think if you need to make some higher knowledge of commerce you should go for it because it can help you to make your overall basic knowledge good even if you don't related to commerce stream in 11th or 12th. the way of teaching in the collage is good but still some of the teachers don't have interest to teach their student in the better way. exam system in the collage is good and its difficuly level is moderate also its depend on the subject and point of view of the students

My best College

Course Curriculum Overview:

In this clg, there is outstanding course curriculum in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness. In clg I choose this course because of quality faculty members available for providing high effort for students. The frequency of exams are 3 hrs per exam and timing is based on two shifts: morning or evening. The timing of morning shift were from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and evening shift timings were from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course curriculum was good. The faculty members were good, they were teaching well, and they were helpful. I like this course that is why I opt this course. There are mostly 10 faculty members in the commerce department. And students around 580. It takes exams frequently and exams are easy. Yeah, their teaching methods are good.

A Descent college for graduation

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I had an interest in commerce and wanted to prepare for some govt exams simultaneously. The faculty to student ratio is approx. 1:25. Most of the faculties are average but few are descent. too. Most of them hold a Ph.D. degree from any descent local college and some of them have just done a master's. The exams are held twice a semester Mid semesters and end-semester examinations. They're generally easy to moderate in difficulty level but the checking at GNDU university is a bit on the tougher side still its very easy to pass exams even after studying just a few days before exams

No entrance exam was conducted. It is the first college in area offering B.Com. Professional. Its eligibility was For all those candidates who have passed the 10+2 Commerce or its equivalent examination in any stream conducted by a recognized Board/University/Council.
