Remarks :

College management was very good and handled the students accordingly. Our college Director was very weak in his communication and personality.

Entrance Preview :

Qualified AIEEE in 2008. I scored 250424 rank and got selected in merit list. I took admission in Tek Chand Mann college of Engineering. I choose Information Technology.

Course Curriculum Overview :

There was 8 semester with different subjects like Maths, OOPS, C++, C, Engineering Drawing, Data Structure, DBMS, Computer Network, Computer Graphics, CAD, Physics, Chemistry.

Internships Opportunities :

Tetronix technology used to provide the internship to our college students. I choose the same for my internship. My platform subject was Core Java. They charged us by 6000 inr for internship.

Placement Experience :

Many companies came for the placement like Samsung, Wipro, IBM, Infosys, HCL, Fox Opera, Syrex Infoservices Pvt Ltd. and I was selected in Syrex Inforservices Pvt Ltd. and got package of 2.4 Lacs per annum.

College Events :

Mainly sports events (both indoor and outdoor) took place our college. I was a member of my college Cricket Team. We won 3 matches in inter college competitions. Apart from this, dance and debates used to take place. Dance competition was most popular among the girls students. The rehearsal got started from months before.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee was expensive. The figure is mentioned below 1st & 2nd semester - 60000 inr3rd & 4th semester - 72000 inr5th & 6th semester - 68000 inr7th & 8th semester- 72000 inrApart from this, hostel charges were there as 30000 inr per year.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes, scholarship was there but only for the students who came in college uniform for whole year. Those students were awarded by 10, 000 inr.

Campus Life :

Girls ratio was less as compared to the boys. It would be like 20:10. Hostel parties took place separately for boys and girls but still all were comfortable with the surroundings. There was no tolerance with regard to gender, religion or anything at all.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel Facility was very good. Water supply, infrastructure, accessories, bathroom were nice. But mess food was very bad. Most of the time, we had to move outside to had our meal.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

We were the senior most as we were the 1st batch of our college. Interaction with the faculty was always good. All were helpful and supportive. They all were well qualified and good in nature. Only Account Section was rude with all students.

Exam Structure :

Total 8 semester were there and every semester consist of 6 subjects and 4 practical/projects. We never missed our Practical classes. I used to chill out in labs. Theory classes were really very boring.

Faculty :

Faculty was good and supportive. Miss. Kiran Shrama was our first HOD and she used to taught us C and Data Structure. All faculty members were helpful and guided us in our projects and practicals promptly.

Placement Experience:

The companies start to visit the campus to place students in 7th and 8th semesters. Almost all the sincere students get a decent fresher job. Students decide from the multiple MNC's that visit the institute every year. Infosys, Daffodil, and Naggaro are some which constantly conduct placement drives. Many students crack government exams thanks to the world-class library and many also crack off-campus offers. In a nutshell, the institute's placement cell in the leadership of Training and Placement Officer Mr.Arun Hooda who himself is an alumnus of the institute has something to offer to every candidate.I plan to either go for a government job or crack a good placement offer , But currently being a sophomore i am not focusing so much on my plans after i get a degree.

If I talk about the negative remarks is this college is affiliated from Kurukshetra University and the results are very bad. Almost 60-70% students of particular stream get reappear. And it never get cleared in first attempt.
