ARSD Summarised

Remarks :

Presently college is ranked 14th in the entire india . Which is the result of the hard work of students and teachers both and administration as well. The colleg is doing a wonderful job passing out a batch of around 3000 students every year who Opted for various courses . College is doing good in faculty students ratio as well Extracurricular activities in the. College also provides you a great chance to groom yourself

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum in my university has been changed from last 4 years . Earlier in the same course you have to choose the subjects which were there in the list prescribed for the course people did not git any choices among internal subjects . But right now that is before 4 years university introduced CBCS pattern I.e. choice based credit system . Where you can choose one subject in every semester among a list of subjects that may or may not be related to your stream if you are science student you can opt for economics as that optional subject as well . And same is true other way round as well . This system has certainly given liberty to students in choosing their subjects and taking their career forward in whatever stream they want.

Placement Experience :

Placements and job opportunities are also there in my college but that are not that much at grand scale as compared to other north campus colleges of the delhi university . Though my college also organizes in internship and job fair . Where various companies come to hire students basically they are startups which hire you in nit so good package . But overall if you want to get good hands on experience than internships are there in college placement cell irrespective of the stipend provided by the companies because stipend is not so great . Though companies come for placement as well . This year cognizant , Tres vista , delloite, KPMG etc hired students from varioys courses from our college.

College Events :

College celebrate almost all the basic events as republic day independence day World woman's day Environment day Labour day NCC day North East festival Education drive for poor kids in slum areas Donation drives of books for poor kids Donation drive of clothes for poor kids

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure is very feasible in my college they charge you a total of approx 10,000 or less a year . The above fees provided differs for various courses as fees for the humanities courses is less as compared to science students

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

My college provide scholarship to students of every course that is a limited number of students from every course on the basis of their marks in previous semester and interview is also conducted for the students who are opting for scholarship . Approximately college provides a sum of 15,000 yearly to every scholarship availing student and book aid in addition to that from students can borrow book from book bank and keep the same for a period of 6 months

Campus Life :

The College exceptional pool of extracurricular activities in which student can take part and can groom themselves as a complete personality . In my college they provide you with english and hindi debating society where people can learn debating can improve their communication skill to a whole new level . It provides dramatics society for those who are intersted in theatre .Where students tend practice for theater every day . It have dance and fashion society where you can hone you dancing skills if you feel that you can really be a good dancer you can join that and can take yourself to a whole new level of dancing . If you are fashion freak you can join fashion society . College have NCC for defence aspirants where you learn all the basics and attend various camps organized by NCC battalion . NSS for those who are interested in social work Enactus also provides a good platform for social work to the students in college who want to contribute to the society.

Aas the atma ram sanatan sharma colleg is very old college so it has huge network of alumini who can help you at any time if you approach them with suitable problem .We have seniors as well who ca guide in every problem of your life be it related to studies or it may be rated to you getting a job they can fetch you. So its better to select all courses. 2.) Now wait for the university to release cutoff lists for various courses and colleges. 1st cutoff around 20th June and 5th cutoff around 18th july and every other cutoff in between. University also release more cutoffs if seats are vacant in any course after the 5th cutoff . Which is pretty obvious that seats remain vacant DU releases around 5 more cutoffs after the 5th cutoff. 3.) Keep on checking cutoff list of various courses and colleges by logging into your online admission portal. For admission into BSc Computer Science mathematical science Mathematics statistics you will be required to show marks of mathematics one of the languages you have studied Plus two other subjects that is the best four subjects we can say For admission into other BSc honors courses and BSc program courses you will be required to show marks of Physics chemistry mathematics / biology / biotechnology based on the course in which you want to get admit that is Physics and Chemistry are compulsory and one of biology or mathematics and when you find that you are eligible for any college you by looking into the cutoff list released by the University. Now your over with your admission procedure if you want yourself to keep admitted in the same college in which you have taken the admission. 6.) Now now University has some flexible rules you can change your admit from one college to other by looking at the subsequent cut off list if you may happen to take admission in a college and in the subsequent cut off list you are eligible in a different coruse of your choice or a different college of your choice. For taking admission into the new college firstly you have to get your admission cancelled from the previous college in which you have taken admission and you will get your original documents back from the college. Now for admission into the college you have to repeat from Step number 4. The fee payment which you have made for first college that is eligible in all for the colleges in which you are taking admission in case the fees required by your second college are somewhat higher then that college in which you got admit in the previous list then you have to pay the remaining amount as well. If the fees required by your second college are equal or less then the fees of the earlier college in which you got admit then you will get your fees back into your bank account after duration of around 20 days. If you want yourself to get admitted through ECA quota you have to appear for ECA trials as well students taking admission through ECA quota University will be announcing subsequent lists of the candidates selected through ECA quota . The above mentioned procedure is for merit based admissions. In case you want to apply for entrance based admission as well you will have to fill a separate form and you have to choose the entrance exams which you want to appear in as every exam will have a cost around 500 rupees after that you have to appear for the exams which you have selected conducted by the University. It will be declaring the results for these entrance exams around 20th June then you can simply approached the college in in which you are seeing yourself eligible for the admission based on the rank in your entrance exam. Course Curriculum Overview:

I always excelled in mathematics in school. So, i decided to pursue it for higher studies. You should only choose this course if you want to make a career in mathematics field for example if you want to become a mathematics professor, go into research, become a data scientist or clear exams like JAM, NET, JRF. They do teach softwares like R which is very important but they should include more technologies and coding languages into the course as well. Special mention: if you want to pursue a career in data science i wouldn't recommend this course. I think a computer major would be more helpful.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was always interested in studying chemistry since school so I opted for this course. The course is well built and designed in order to build your interest in this field. The college provides enough industrial visits to encourage you in the same field and organises sufficient conferences regarding the same. There are no such improvements required in the faculty except a few. Exams used to happen semester wise after every 5 months. We only used to prepare for these, only a few teachers asked us to solve an assignment and nothing much.

This course helps and prepares students for the real world application as it is a practical course and have all the industrial related topics in it. In my opinion the college should offer more industrial vists for the students. The difficulty level of exams is Average.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I gave Entrance and I qualified and I have no option other than this course. Our Faculty is a mixture, as we have to study Physics Chemistry and Mathematics so we have three 3 departments. Student teacher ratio is 10:1. All teachers are PhD Professor. they wrote many books also, their teaching is according to UGC syllabus. they provide notes. There is Semester exam after 6 months and one test in one month of each subject. You have to prepare your notes in a very well way to obtain good marks.
