- The infrastructure of the college is outstanding, there are many classes and every class is Air conditioned. Lifts are available in every building.
- Sports facilities are upto the mark, you get all kind of sports stadium and their training. For example :- There is availability of swimming, gym, boxing, cricket, football, basketball and almost all kind of sports you can think of.
Dislikes
- Fees is a bit too high and the college timings are a bit of headache.
Course Curriculum Overview :
It povides B.tech CSE course which is quite popular for engineering and this college provides a lot of value and reach in this course. I wanted to be a software engineer so I decided to opt for this course in this reputable college. They have introduced particular subjects to be upto date with the industrial demands. There are mid semester exams, time to time quizes, assignments etc. There is a little pressure of examinations as you get less time to study for it.
Internships Opportunities :
Everyone gets an opportunity to have an internship from the learned skills in the third year. You work hard, you get a chance for internship. There are pre-placement internships for the students. The companies qualify you on the basis of your skills and hardwork.
Placement Experience :
The placements of this college are decent. You will get easily placed if you work and study hard for the placements. Around 85-90% students get placed easily in B.tech CSE branch. Popular companies visit the campus and place offers. Avg package is around 8-9 LPA. Highest is around 54 lakhs per annum.
Fees and Financial Aid :
The fees of B.tech in Computer Science and Engineering for 2024-2028 batch are divided in different segments. First of all, the course fee is around Rs. 2,00,000 per semester that means around Rs. 16,00,000 for 4 years. The hostel fees per semester lies around Rs. 28,000 that means Rs. 2,24,000 for 4 years and a mess fees of around Rs. 22,500 per semester. The total fees lies around Rs. 18 lakhs to 20 lakhs. Around 1000 students get scholarship for performing well in the KIITEE entrance exam. You can also get scholarship by performing well in semester examinations.
Campus Life :
There is a lot of greenery in the campus. They are trees and plants everywhere in the college. There are many clubs as per your interest you can join them and learn and gain knowledge from others. There are music clubs, dance clubs , software engineering clubs etc.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel facilities are upto the mark as they clean the toilets daily, the electricity is available almost all the time, college wifi is also available except the rainy days. There are cupboards for each person, beds and tables.
Admission :
My elder brother has studied from KIIT and got placed in a good company with a decent package. This made me choose this college as my brother had an experience of studying in this college. I preferred it as the best option after not making it out in JEE examination. I gave KIITEE exam to get in this college. There were 3 phases of KIITEE examination in 2024. I qualified in phase 1 examination and got admission in CSE department.
Faculty :
There are a lot of well qualified teachers to help the students out in their problems and doubts. Most of the teachers teach well and a very guiding and polite towards the students. It is compulsory to maintain around 75% attendance and faculty is quiet strict in this aspect. The lab faculty is also well qualified and will guide you through everything.
Night Life :
There is a central library in our college which remains open 24 x 7 and you can access anytime. Library is air conditioned and has a very big building will all the books and facilties available. In first year, the hostel in time is 6:30 pm so we are not able to roam in the college at night.
