College Experience Of Rd National

Dislikes

  • Since the college keeps increasing the amount of programs they offer each year there is an indefinite class shortage which the college tries to tackle with time schedule of students but sometimes they overlap which leaves student with no classrooms.
  • No change in classroom infrastructure, even though a lot of renovations have happened when it comes to classrooms nothing other than projectors are new and rest of all the things are still old.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is one of the best when compared to how real world scenarios apply. The course offers everything from web developent to app development from cloud to ai/ml covering all branch that a student would like to go after completion and then there is additional subjects such as soft skills, entreprenurship, content writing and more to help students.

Placement Experience :

The college does provide placement each year where companies come in the final semester of students and conduct interviews. Visited companies are tcs and infosyis as of my knowlede and 28+ but i could remember only this much. But last year the college did fail in bringing colleges for placement and a carrer guidance session was kept instead. I am planning of looking for jobs after the completion of my degree

Fees and Financial Aid :

Tution fee: 20000 Admission fee: 200 labaratory fee: 3000 development fee: 500 computer fee: 2000 Gymkhana fee: 400 Library fee: 600 other fee: 250 Examination fee: 2408 industrial visit fee: 500 Total fees paid : 30563

Campus Life :

The campus is one of the highlighting factor of the college as it consists of basketball court, botanical guarden, innovation club, magazine club, boys common room/game room, canteen, stationary and xerox center. Hence the campus does come with a lot of beneficiaries for students

Admission :

This college was better when compared in academic and crowd and very affordable for the course i wanted and hence it was the best choice for me and the college does back it up as the college won the best college from the mumbai university

Faculty :

The faculty student ratios is 8-10:60/70 as the class has 5 subjects regular and +1/2 additional those are on site extra teacher and hence there is one teacher per subject and same is for the practicals of those subjects. They falculties are super approachable and they dont hesitate while helping students and come with years of experience as well. Last year the course achieved 100% passing and on an average of all past years it is somewhere around 95-98%

Night Life :

The college is surrounded by facilities of food joints, gyms and all for example burgerking is opposite of the college and mc donalds, kfc and starbuck are 2 min distance. There arent hostels nearbys but there are hotels for stays

Other Applied Colleges

Rizvi College of Arts Science and Commerce | Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] (Computer Science)

Rd national college is found to better when it comes to faculty and academic experiences and hence I chose to not pursue rizvi college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would love to rate the course 5/5. The course is undoubtedly the best, the amazing, I don't have words to describe it. They take care of each and everything, they prepare us to the extent where we really don't have to open the book again and go through, they make you expert in each and everything.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum includes courses from diverse fields of psychology giving the students opportunities to explore and learn about these fields before they specialise during Masters. The course content can be reduced a bit as it is too much for students to handle. Mid terms and term end exams are held for each semester. There are a total of 6 semesters. Difficulty level is above average.

Placement Experience:

From 5th Sem students are eligible for placements and there are 2 companies visited to our college till now, named moglix and persistent systems, average package is nearly 250000 and highest package offered till now is 305000. Out of 100% students only a few students are selected for placements and are placed according to there skills and talent. The percentage would be like 15%. I plan to opt for off campus placements after my degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is quite relevant and comprehensive, covering a broad spectrum of topics that align with current industry trends and academic standards. One of the specific aspects that influenced my decision to choose this course was it's emphasis on practical application alongside threotical knowledge. The curriculum effectively bridges the gap between classroom learning and industry requirements, allowing students to develop critical thinking and problems solving skills essential for professional success. However, there are areas for improvement for instance, guest lecture from professional could enrich learning experience and provide insight into current practicee.Additionally while the course covers wide range of topics could benefit from deeper exploration.Regarding the frequency and timings of Exams ,they are generally well-structured, allowing adequate preparation time
