Newton the next big name in private colleges

Dislikes

  • All though teacher are helpful there are tons of extra if lack in academic
  • Mess lacks variety when it comes to the menu

Course Curriculum Overview :

We started learning python from day one and we'll start with dsa in the second sem. Meanwhile we have completed html and css in Frist sem and will be starting with javascript and react in second sem. In math we are thought math topics that are related to ai and ml.

Internships Opportunities :

Internship are a major part of curriculum here everyone needs to do a compulsory paid internship to obtain there degree. Some of people here have gotten internships offers with stipend of upto 60k. One girl also got into GSOC.

Placement Experience :

There is no data for placements since the first is still only in second year however, the compulsory internship required to complete the degree is going on for our seniors and its impressive one got selected in gsoc some are getting internship with stipend of 60k. overall it looks promising for the future of this College.

Fees and Financial Aid :

Total fees is around 22.5 lakhs which includes 50k seat block fee for first two sem, 1.86 lakh tuition fees per sem(1.36lakh for 1st and 2nd sem) with 90k as hostel and mess per semester which is compulsory.

Campus Life :

Campus Life is amazing here we are allowed to roam freely in the campus 24x7 (except in raining season because of snakes). Sports facilities include indoor badminton court, indoor swimming pool, indoor squash court, gym volleyball, cricket net and football ground.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel here very well maintained and cleaned on regular basis (once/twice a week) every room is double accomodation. Each has a ac, two wardrobe and two Study table. Mess food tasty is satisfactory but variety is lacking.

Admission :

I applied to jaypee as well as but I chose Newton because it has simply better in terms of curriculum and their decidation towards making actual good software engineer fit for the upcoming ai boom and recession.

Faculty :

One faculty teaches around 600 students. Kunal sir is the best when it comes to python and ankur sir is best in maths and Rahul sir in web dev. We have separate teacher for labs as well as personal mentor for a group of students.

Night Life :

We are allowed to roam freely in the campus 24x7 (except in raining season due to danger of snakes). We have ccd which is open till 10 and mess canteen open till 11 as well as vending all over the campus.

Placement Experience:

There is no such good placement in the campus and mostly students go for off campus. And they get a cool package. If talking about average in campus package offered to student is 3LPA but sometimes it increases to 6LPA. After graduation I'll go for higher studies.
