Course Curriculum Overview :
If you want to opt for management in the future you first step should be BBA. but also BBA is not just for management but is also for marketing, sales, finance etc. If you refer to the hand written notes taken during lecture and notes provided by the faculty, you wouldn't need to use books during exams, the notes are more than enough.
Internships Opportunities :
Interships are provided to students based ont heir CGPA and as per my recommendation a good CGPA is required and an internship is a must be it college provided or self searched. Internship will offer you exposure and will improve your Resume.
Placement Experience :
Placements are good for freshers and also international placements are provided. Placement package starts from 6.5L in case of domestic and for international it is around 60L per annum. Companies like Delloite, Wipro, Infotech, etc do visit and provide placements to deserving students.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
In case of BBA i e. Bachelor's in business administration the fees charges by IIMT is ?90,000 per year. Fees may also vary based on your 12th score and CUET appearance. Initially you need to pay 8,000 when your application gets selected as a security deposit and uniform and study material fee. Other government scholarships especially for girls are also provided which are really beneficial. Fees is not to be paid in a whole rather in parts. First part us 40% of your fees and as of the hostel 50% fees is to paid initially and rest can be paid by the end of the year.
Campus Life :
Campus life is great. Good friends are a must. Focus on studies and activities as well and don't be a introvert or else it'll be boring. Take a break sometimes as well. Take part in sports. Sports faculty here are really active and there is an active participation by students as well. Intracollege sports events are also held. Fests are held annually consisting a number of activities. Clubs such as cultural, sports, etc are also there. Students can enroll in it as well
Hostel Facilities :
The price for double or triple sharing occupancy is ?1,10,000 for non ac rooms and ?1,50,000 for ac rooms per year. Mess food, gym, laundry, wifi, hot water supply, water coolers everything is included in the same amount. PGs and rooms are also available nearby if you are interested and they are also affordable.
Admission :
IIMT is a good college and was recommended by a lot my known people. Also the internships are good here and cherry on top is tgat it provides international placements as well. For students who are more focused to studies IIMT is great for you all. My advice is just make good friends with day scholars and hostel mates and life is heaven then. Admission process is realky simple as it is direct. When your application gets accepted all tou need to do is submit 8,000 rs. This will serve as security deposit and the money for uniform and course books. If you scored good in 12th and have appeared for CUET you fees may be reduced further.
Faculty :
The faculty here is is really supportive and understanding. They rovide with notes and information time to time. The exam system is good. Sessional exam is conducted after a month and a half and marks vary from department to department. For management it is of 30 marks. Rest 70 are semester exams. Marks are also provided on the basis of attendence, assignment, code of conduct, etc.
Night Life :
Gym and cafes are available in the college itself. Hostel timings for girls is till 9 p.m. and for boys its 10 p.m. hostel gates open at 7 in the morning. Main gate entry time for girls is 6:30 and for boys uts around 7:30 or 8. You can hangout almost anywhere in thw whole college campus and the best place to hangout is the main cafe which serves yummylicious food at affordable prices.
