  • Although the faculty is good sometimes the lack the knowledge in the subject and there is no proper time for them to teach thoroughly and make the class interactive
  • They only focus on completing the subject there no extra activities. Students lack interest for the college due to this. they only focus on teaching.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I would rate the course curriculum a 1 out of 5 because they teach current technologies like Java, Python, server programming, and data structures using Java. they are just subjects and there is no proper implementation of the subjects. Like labs are not proper. They just want to make sure that the theory part is completed which is not full coverage of the subject. They just focus on a limited subject. Their only agenda is to make sure everyone gets a good GPA. My suggestions for the areas of improvement are: 1. Make it compulsory for the students to get laptops to classes daily. because a 2hrs lab a week isn't gonna help us in learning the subject with technical skills. So we should learn the theory and technical skills daily. 2. Make sure the faculty has better presentation skills and doesn't read from the ppt. 3. Engaging students with different activities would help us create interest in the subject. 4. Add extra-curriculum activities that help in personality development.

Internships Opportunities :

As far as I know, there are no internships available with a stipend. But we do AICTE internships (government internships). Once they asked us to join a Flipkart internship and asked us to attend the exams we all did but no one could make it due to a lack of technical skills.

Placement Experience :

From 6th semester the students are eligible for campus placements. the average package is 4lpa and even the highest package is not that high it very less compared to other colleges. Students above 7.5 CGPA and no backlogs are eligible for placements. My plan after getting the degree is to do a Master's in Psychology.

Fees and Financial Aid :

Here is the fee Structure:- Tuition fees:- 200000 Admission fees(One -TIme):-10000 Miscellaneous fees:-10000/yr Total yearly feea:-2,10000 Total course fee(4yrs):-8,40000 Friends fees vary because it depends on how fast we took the admission. the lowest fee is around 1.4lakh per year and the highest is around 2.5lakh. The fee will be increased for the new batches for batch 2024 the starting fee was around 2lakhs but for us it was around 1.4lakhs

Campus Life :

Very few events take place on the campus. There are no clubs and there are only 2 cultural fests a year and speaking of technical festivals we have have only one or 2 hackathons a year. We have cultural fests taking in the months of October and February and there are specific months for technical fests but they happen mostly in September or October and February or March. The library is of no use to students because no one actually is interested in going there and referring books. As said earlier everything is in PowerPoint and students lack interest in learning beyond the classroom. We have sports but we have only one hour per week and there will be competitions held but they do it just for the namesake. There is no actual game spirit and no practice, and sometimes before the exams like before 2 weeks itself the sports periods will be canceled so there are no proper extra-curricular activities. We have very good labs and we have smart boards in the classroom.

Admission :

I wasn't into engineering. I always wanted to be a fashion designer and it was a last-minute family decision to get into an engineering college they chose this college because it promised placements and it was near our living area. Another reason to select this college was few of our relatives have suggested this college. I haven't applied to any other engineering college. I have directly joined in this due to a lack of exposure to other colleges. The admission process of our college is, the student should have more than 70% in their inter or +2. If they have above 70% they are eligible to get an admission. There is no entrance exam or an interview. We can directly take an admission.

Faculty :

The faculty here are all Ph. D.s, but a limited number have industry experience, which affects the integration of real-world applications into the curriculum. Most of the faculty here just get the PowerPoint forms online and read them out. The faculty lacks the quality of engaging the students in the class. Most of the faculty don't even show interest in maintaining relationships with students. Exam Systems:- Here we have 60 marks for internal and 40 marks for external. Internal Marks Structure:- 30Marks:- 2 mind exams each 15 marks 30 MArks:- based on continuous evaluation, Attendance, Assignment, labs 40 marks External:- We will be writing a 2hrs exam for the end sem

Night Life :

There is no nightlife in college. The gym closes around 6 or 7 pm. and there is no access to cafeterias, library, or any public area after 5 o'clock. The cafeteria opens at 8 o'clock and closes at 9 o'clock and again opens in the afternoon at 12 o'clock and closes at 1:30 and again opens around 3 o'clock and closes at 4 pm. The hostlers have to be in the hostel by sharp 5. They are not allowed to roam even on campus. Mainly girls have more restrictions. they cannot even come out on Sundays because boys will be out in campus. We can only hang out in cafeterias and that too at a given time. Outside the places, we have many like Chillar( a restaurant with box cricket) and a few more like juice centers and milkshake spots.

Our curriculum is good. I cannot tell that it's excellent. I am satisfied by taking the ECE course. We don't have much really time experiences regarding the syllabus. There must be some real time projects and field trips.
