- I liked the Cousre because of its multi speciality like in cardio, Nephrology, Neurology, respiratory care and also Gastroenterology
- I liked the Library facility of my college with free internet access
Dislikes
- Administration is not that upto date to meet the expectations of students
- This Course has eligibility issues as not provided in any university except SKIMS
Course Curriculum Overview :
The Course is Best but it has little bit issues like Eligibility which i already mentioned. Curriculum is best to learn and develop Skills . Almost 70% of medicine is Tought in 2nd year by DM scholars and there are 4 papers of medicine in 2nd year annual exams. Improvement should be done in the sports activity and Administration. The difficulty level of exams is moderate to high ,but exams are held on time
Internships Opportunities :
The companies like Medtronics , boston i,e the ones deals with medicine Products like Pacemaker making companies etc etc I have not taken part in any project till now hopefully this year i will Inam also looking for some extracurricular activity to be part of like awareness programme etc
Placement Experience :
Placement is entirely depend on the Exams held after degree.. No companies visit here only Placement in medical feild is done Highest package is 33500 per month 70% of passouts get placed in Own institute but rest has to apply for sm where else My plan is to appear for Masters in AIIMS delhi .then PhD
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The Fee has to be paid Once Only i,e 18k For the full Degree . You need to appear in a state level entrance called jkCET (Common entrance test) to get a seat in SKIMS .after that regular class work will start after you join the College .No scholarship as 18K is the net fee for 3 years
Campus Life :
Honestly when i joined the campus i was little bit depressed but after that i over come this with Learning experience in college . Annual and technical festivals are held at institute. Like World aids day ,kidney day, diabetes day Etc etc . Library is top notch and has the availability of best books and journals also in E book form Classrooms are fully digital and Internet access is given to students with some limits like social media doesn't work on that Extra crricular activities needs improvement as those are not preffered over here . Yes there are social groups for the nature protection, awareness about Infections and precautions, hematology etc
Admission :
I chooses this because i wanted to go in medical feild after my recent failure in NEET exams ,i heard about this college and course from my friend he was my senior there. Yes i got rejected in NEET exams For admission in SKIMS , there is State level Entrance called JKCET for which student has to apply and appear in exam then counselling of seats is done by JKBOPEE .,after the selection list is Out student need to visit the College with Necessary docs like Aadhar Card Domocile , DOB , migration certificate and Provisional and discharge certificate..and its done after paying the Fee in the form of bank draft
Faculty :
The faculty is Fair enough to look after each student. I like the General medicine Faculty and Technologist staff the most. I didn't like Cardiology faculty as the Not that much student friendly There are annual exams like one in year and Including practical exams (viva)
Night Life :
Night life is not good Gym facility is kot available with in campus , it has to be there but unfortunately it isn't. Hostel is for The Resident doctors and all Girls including BSC students. But not for the Bsc and MSC boys so needs improvement. But locally rooms and PGs are available with 100% safety and Other Facilities
