Infrastructure is really very nice of the college

The classes start very early in the morning
The classes are for long hours and even goes to 5:30 in the evening

Course Curriculum Overview :

Well the new NEP course is really good it is very precise and specific even new courses are being included in the curriculum like VAC SEC AEC which help to increase values skills in students with subject knowledge

Class Size : 50Course Fees : INR 13000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

13000 per year and I don't know about reservation relaxation but every year the fees do not increase it remains the same . Scholarships are provided for economically weaker section and other facilities like hotels are also available.

Campus Life :

The campus experience is very great the campus is really very beautiful and peaceful and the college have different students from different regions which helps in socialization plus college have number of societies

Admission :

Well I choosed this college because it was very nice college and It is located in south campus which is really great location of Delhi and college gives really nice opportunities to students time to time to explore

Faculty :

I'm a English honours student and my subject faculty is really really nice they cover the syllabus greatly and help the students even on personal level also they provide subject materials notes and other resources

Night Life :

As the college is located in really nice location so there are a number of hangouts places near the college there is Satya niketan which has a number of good restaurants and clubs gi visit and enjoy after the classes or free time

Maitreyi College is Underrated, A VERY NICE EXPERIENCE

Course Curriculum Overview:

Coming to english hons I had a little different expectations and this turned out to be a little different, This course is too much till where I have studied is inclined towards literature which sometimes students do not like. There are many subjects inside the core, but subjects like literary studies caught lot of attention due to it's attractiveness and different perspectives. Sometimes things go a lot off syllabus which disrupts mindful learning but thankgod it's just 30-40% of it.

The course curriculum is not updated . Teachers uses old method of teaching on pen and paper. Like in statistics now various tools are available in market and instead of making us learn those tools teachers are teaching the most basic things on pen and paper.But the course is very demanding nowadays.

Good and bad's of my college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is basically design to study economics in a depth so that the understanding of student related to world economic, how economics work , how it affect an individual etc increase and he can work more efficiently to give theories and work in the companies related to economics. The curriculum includes value added course and skill enhanced courses that help us to learn different types of skills that are required in the real world applications. Improvement in these can be done by asking the student to apply all these into real life and connect students with the real life approaches related to the course. For core subjects the timing of paper is 3 hours and for sec and vac courses the timing of paper is 1 hour.

Life as a student in DU

Course Curriculum Overview:

1) i had interest in history from my class 11th. I wanted to further increase my knowledge ane thus accepted my course 2) the course not only prepares u to give exams but actualy leads u to study many papers, books that expands your understanding of the course and also real life challneges where u have to apply it. It also prepares you for further academic pursuits 3) they can opt for more practical learning apart from classroom learning, they can make field trips and let student know about research also 4) the end exams start after 4-5 months of sem start. U are given well enough time to prepare gradually. The assignments, test can make it hectic but if u complete the given work in time, u can prepare well enough for the exams and do well.
