  • There is a placement cell , students feel that the placement opportunities may not be as robust as in other institutions.

Course Curriculum Overview :

My course is B.A programme ( economics + Sociology ) I get to study 2 completely different subjects but they're related to my future career path and only this college has this programme combination The curriculum prepares you for real world applications well enough if we're talking about economics and about Sociology it is the basic understanding of the society which helps in further academic pursuits. There is no area of improvement in the course curriculum as it is really relevant and to the point. The exams are held occasionally and they aren't that hard if you've studies well enough.

Internships Opportunities :

The top recruiters are - Ernst and Young, Google, IACT Global, Protivity, Oberoi Group of Hotels, Zomato, Rio Tinto and IBN 7. The placement cell of Kamla Nehru College organizes annual internship fair offering immense amount of internship opportunities for the students The stipend depends upon the skills acquired by the particular student It might range from 10000 to 20000

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

TUITION FEES: Typically ranges from 10000 to 18000 per year, depending on the course. Admission Fee - ?5 Tuition Fee - ?180 Caution/Security fees(Refundable) - ?800 2. Miscellaneous fees: This may include library fees, laboratory fee, and other administrative charges, which can add another 5000 to 10000 annually Some of these are : •Library reading room - 700 I paid 15000 for my course which is B.A programme (economics+Sociology) General category. Other courses have overall annual fees. B.A (Hons) Journalism fee - 18,700 B.A (Hons) english - 9700 SCHOLARSHIPS : • SDEF Scholarship Program: A scholarship program for the 2023-2024 academic year • Merit scholarships: Awarded to the top three students on the university merit list

Campus Life :

The annual fest of KNC is ULLAS usually held in December There is a wide variety of books and journals available in the library, it is a 2 floored library with a ground floor filled with racks and racks of books and journals so you'll find possibly everything in the library. The facilities within the classrooms are decent, there are no ACs in classrooms but projectors and boards are there. Sports and extracurricular is decent at Kamla Nehru College with a mediocre area of ground along NCC unit operating really well , there is a gym too. Student run social groups such as green beans society, unabridged (the book club), enactus , placement cell and a lot more clubs offers a really nice experience, exposure and opportunities to learn.

Admission :

I got admission in Rukmani Devi institute of Advanced studies and I chose Kamla Nehru college over RDIAS because of the affordability of the fees of my course and the campus , Kamla Nehru College has a lush green campus and a very homely atmosphere whereas RDIAS does not offer you that big of a campus. I didn't get a rejection from any of the other colleges I applied for because Kamla Nehru College is the only college that offers my programme. Admission process for my colleges is CUET exam , the eligibility is CUET exam there is no other way to get into a DU college , the cut off for my course was 690/800.

Faculty :

1. Faculty to student ratio is pretty balanced and teachers are very approachable , they'll always be ready to help students out. 2. Facilities I like : Dr. Archana Prasad : she is my Sociology's major teacher and the way she teaches is splendid and to the point 3. There aren't any faculty that I personally dislike 4. Class tests are held occasionally and they're easy , on the scale kf difficulty it will be 4/10. The course curriculum is absolutely relevant to the disciplinary subjects.

Night Life :

The nearest famous cafe near Kamla Nehru College is Diggin cafe another major lively spot near the college is Hauz Khas , there are alot of cafes there as well and the night life is amazing there. Locality is safe and sound till 7pm in the night There is no hostel in Kamla Nehru college Campus timings are 9am to 6pm.

Other Applied Colleges

Rukmini Devi Institute of Advanced Studies - [RDIAS] | Bachelor of Business Administration [BBA]

The campus is very small , it almost feels like a school and has no vibrant college life.

Bharati Vidyapeeth Institute of Management and Research - [BVIMR] | Bachelor of Business Administration [BBA]

The course fees was extremely expensive relating to the infrastructure and the hostel rooms , college has decent but not the best packages so ROI is less and it also doesn't have a lot of opportunities for the students to learn about the real corporate wo

Course Curriculum Overview:

Coming to english hons I had a little different expectations and this turned out to be a little different, This course is too much till where I have studied is inclined towards literature which sometimes students do not like. There are many subjects inside the core, but subjects like literary studies caught lot of attention due to it's attractiveness and different perspectives. Sometimes things go a lot off syllabus which disrupts mindful learning but thankgod it's just 30-40% of it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is not updated . Teachers uses old method of teaching on pen and paper. Like in statistics now various tools are available in market and instead of making us learn those tools teachers are teaching the most basic things on pen and paper. But the course is very demanding nowadays.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is basically design to study economics in a depth so that the understanding of student related to world economic, how economics work , how it affect an individual etc increase and he can work more efficiently to give theories and work in the companies related to economics. The curriculum includes value added course and skill enhanced courses that help us to learn different types of skills that are required in the real world applications. Improvement in these can be done by asking the student to apply all these into real life and connect students with the real life approaches related to the course. For core subjects the timing of paper is 3 hours and for sec and vac courses the timing of paper is 1 hour.

The curriculum provides a great knowledge about how politics as a discipline is based around the reality of life. The political theory brings out the conceptual knowledge about liberal and other such ideas while the political thought brings out the ideas of ancient thinkers like Plato, Aristotle and also ofmediaeval thinkers like Machiavelli TH green etc. there is also Indian political thought providing great knowledge about the political system of ancient India and how the makers of modern India thought about the political society as a whole.

Course Curriculum Overview:

1) i had interest in history from my class 11th. I wanted to further increase my knowledge ane thus accepted my course 2) the course not only prepares u to give exams but actualy leads u to study many papers, books that expands your understanding of the course and also real life challneges where u have to apply it. It also prepares you for further academic pursuits 3) they can opt for more practical learning apart from classroom learning, they can make field trips and let student know about research also 4) the end exams start after 4-5 months of sem start. U are given well enough time to prepare gradually. The assignments, test can make it hectic but if u complete the given work in time, u can prepare well enough for the exams and do well.
