IIT Delhi has a vibrant campus culture with a numerous clubs societies dedicated to everything including research
The faculty is highly qualified in every course with many prof having significant research contributions in many big industries. They are generally approachable and want to mentor student in research aspects

Social life can be intense and competitive because everyone busy in their placement club’s society so u may feel slightly isolated
The teaching method can sometimes lean towards theoretical knowledge rather that practical knowledge but it’s totally depends on prof to prof

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose civil course bcz it gives many options in govt job field and IIT Delhi has best civil department after IIT Roorkee. The practical application could be improved as the curriculum is heavily theoretical. The exam pattern is almost same like other courses but civil has slightly more labs and the difficulty level is moderate

Class Size : 150Course Fees : INR 900000 per year

Placement Experience :

In 5th sem end student start applying for internship and for placement 7th sem. Mostly 100% student from tech branch got placed and lower branch placement percentage is also nice. The avg package is diff in diff branch overall avg package is 14lac

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The course fees for general student yearly is 200000 it's includes mostly all fee Their is no Tution fess for the student from st/sc and whose family income is less than 9 lac Their is some amount of fee that they fake during registration that is approx 50k that is refundable after graduation

Campus Life :

Theirs are many fest and cultural programme in Clg the biggest fest of IIT Delhi is RDV. U will available with almost all the books in library's if not they order it for u. Sport is great here the coaches r from great background. U will every type of club here

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel fees is fair enough according to the facility with a great atmosphere. The registration process is simple u r provided random hostel according to ur branch. If u want to rent pg their r many option in 2km radius in every budget

Hostel Fee : INR 8000 per year

Admission :

I choose IIT DELHI over other college due to it's strong reputation and Delhi has the best environment for UPSC preparation. I filled IIT Delhi only in my 1st priority. The admission process is easy they guide u very nicely

Faculty :

IIT Delhi's civil engineering faculty is highly qualified with a faculty to student ration around 1:9 insuring student gets considerably attention. Prof are generally approachable. The course structure is nice one mid Sema and one end sem per semester. Exams r challenging but fair few students get failed due to absolute checking in few courses

Night Life :

Their is no restrictions for in and out timing after first 2 month in IIT Delhi for both boys and girls hostel. There is reading room gym canteen in each hostel. Famous hangout places in iit Delhi are bio tech lawn girls hostel ????

Good for money not for life

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. In 2024 the highest package till now is 88L per annum and the median package is around 18L per annum.. On campus are good and also off campus placements are also focused. Which is good point!

Unfiltered Truth

Placement Experience:

For 4yr courses like btech students of 7th semester become eligible for campus placements. Tcs, ambuja, mahindra tech and etc.. Companies visited and they made decent number of offers. Highest package is 25 lakhs which offered by amazon. Lowest package is 1.70 lakhs offered by tcs. Percentage of students getting placements is 30%. I wanna join indian army so I will appear for defense exams after the degree

Dilemma choosing NSUT? Here the analysis

Placement Experience:

Usually the placement session starts in the beginning of the 4th year when the recruiters start coming however some people get PPOs even in the end of 3rd year. How the number of on campus internship is quite less of around 100-200 including all three campuses of NSUT. As of now the a total of 457 companies visited for on campus placements and 1400+ offers were given out of 2500 students in the yr 2023 published by the College administration. The highest package offered was 87 lpa and the average package was around 8-10lpa overall. The placement percentage would be around 60-70% overall but talking about my own ICE branch it had a fantastic percentage of 97%. My plans after getting degree is to getting into either a tech MNC or into a core semiconductor company like Qualcomm, Foxconn, etc.

My experience at DTU

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are good at DTU. Average package in 2023 was 25 LPA. Highest package was 82 LPA for BTech and 51 LPA for MTech. More than 160 companies visited DTU in 2023. Around 91 percent student were placed.

IIT-D review

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I am interested in mechanicals. There are few courses in which more than one branch studies so more number of students otherwise 70-80 students per faculty. Faculties are well qualified done masters from foreign universities. Some faculties use slides others use chalk and board. There are minors(mid-sem) and majors(end-sem). Other than that there are quizzes ~4 per semester per course.
