Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum is followed by the college according to their affiliating university which is makaut. The syllabus is continuously updated and made relevant according to industrial changes and academic perspective.
Internships Opportunities :
I'm in 1st year, so do not have any internship experience. Will be eligible from 2nd year onwards then will update the review. Minor and Major projects are included in the curriculum. But, the opportunities for an internship are less than placements.
Placement Experience :
Students eligible for placements from the 3rd semester. Various companies including MNCs, startups and domestic organisation visit the campus each year for placements. Average package is 3LPA. Most of them get placed in mass recruiting companies.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I've paid 40,000 as admission. Out of which 10,000 is refundable deposit. Per semester fees is 30,000. Exam fees is to be paid extra to university which is 1200. Uniform charges are 5000 extra. Scholarships like PMSS, SVMCM, OASIS and Minority scholarship available. Students can also available Bihar/West Bengal Student Credit Card Scheme.
Campus Life :
Various groups are constituted by the institute for all round development of students. In my opinion those clubs should be made more accessible and need to be encouraged. Participation and activities seemed lacking to me.
Admission :
Affordability was one of the most important factors while choosing the college, probably this is the most affordable institute for pursuing MCA course. Admission process was streamlined with one exam that is JECA. Other colleges in this league lacked the student support which RERF offers.
Faculty :
1:12 is the faculty - student ratio. They're very helpful and approachable. Exams are conducted according to MAKAUT, end sems and 4 CA exams per semester. It is very easy to crack the exams. Course curriculum is updated and relevant.
Night Life :
Cafeteria is great with spacious interiors and various food options at an affordable cost. Since I'm a day scholar, didn't opt for hostel. But, hostel are clean and well maintained. It is safe to hangout outside the campus during the night too. Shops are there to fullfill the basic needs outside campus.
