- The infrastructure is good and clean with greenary around
Dislikes
- Some labs are not equipped with good equipments(not working properly)
- Some faculty members doesn’t teach up to the mark. So for some subjects there will be lack of knowledge
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have chose mechanical (robotics). As they euipped with new equipment's of robotics I have inspired a lot and chose to go with this course. This course helps to understand the mechanical engineering an also robotics. It helps us to understand about the mechanism in hardware. It helps to understand about robot infrastructure and about drones. For this course if there is more depth in robotics subjects than it can better. The frequency and timing is good as they maintain a certain period of time gap between the exams and the difficulty level is also good. If studied for a week we can understand up to some level and have a chance to pass the exams.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The year wise fees is Rs 69,000(sixty nine thousand). The above mentioned amount is the tution fee and only that amount is required to pay throughout the year and no other fees is required to pay. The fees is same for all the categories. And in our state Andhra Pradesh there is fees reimbursement for students whose family income is less than 2.5 lakhs and the member should not be a government employee. This scheme is known as Jagananma Vidya Deevena. But as the government changed in 2024 still doesn't know if the scheme continues or not.
Campus Life :
Annual and techinacal fests are conducted once in a year in May or June. Fest name is SNC There is a library where we can take books for free for a fee days. In the library there are many books available to study. There are projectors and seminar halls provided for better understanding of subject. And auditorium is present for events and gatherings. There is playground for extracurricular activities. Students can play whenever they want. Completions will be held frequently. But guidance towards sports will be less. There are Clubs for different activities and themes. There are many Groups, clubs where senior students guide and president will be present for every club. These clubs conduct competitions and interactions with other students as well.
Admission :
I have applied for Andhra university B.Arch program and Gayatri Vidya parishad college of engineering. I have got selected in both the colleges. But Gaytati Vidya parishad college is more promising in placements and teaching. I rejected the B.Arch program as there are less chances of placement than this course in Gaytari College. Admission process are two ways 1. Counselling from EAMCET rank 2. Management quota The only exam accepted here is by EAMCET. And the rank should be between 2000 to 30000 for the course I studied (mechanical (robotics)).
Faculty :
The relationship between the student and teacher is good and they guide us if we have any kind of problems towards the studies. I like Prasad reddy sir as he teaches students in a methodology that every student can understand and also gives time to prepare for exams. He also guides for further studies or helps us if any doubts are present. The faculty are all good but Ram Gopal sir teaching methodology is not good and also he teaches by preparing a certain portion and only that he can teach apart from that he cannot teach. If any doubt was asked outside that portion he may not be able to teach. There are two sems in a year. For a sem two mid examinations will be conducted. Mid examinations are moderate level and Sem examinations are a bit tough compared to Mid examinations. Out of 60 students in a class approximately 20 will fail in at least one subject. The course taken will be very relevant to the student. Person can gain knowledge by studying that course curriculum and can be placed in a company.
