Remarks :

We can learn a lot from this college .Not only theoritical knowledge we also learn the practical knowledge.Thats why the campus recruitment is too good in our college.In my point of view there is no bad remarks in my college.Its one of the best education

Entrance Preview :

I didn't took any of the entrance examinations.I got this college by my 12th mark .The cutoff mark for is 197 Out of 200.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The couse is not too be difficult and the faculty in our college is friendly in nature.They help us during the tough times.They guide in the right way.If i did any miatakes they will call me personally and advise me in a personal place.

Internships Opportunities :

Its is very enjoyable and i have learned a lot by the internship.They have explained me about the optic fibre communication and its really worthful and have got a best credits during my internship.But the sadest part is that they is no stipend .

Placement Experience :

The placement in our college is about 75%. About 2 Third of the students got placed during the recruitment process.The college principal is very happy about the placement during 2015.since it is 15% More than the previous year.

College Events :

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Yeah while compared to all other colleges in my state .The fees structure is feasible.I am from a middle class family . Even i have completed my engineering graduate in the most prestigious institution with less fees structure.The fees for the college is about 8K per year.Its very less when compared to other colleges.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The government have gave a scholarship through our college.They gave about 25k scholarship to Sc/St students.this made the students to study in the college.Those guys are from poor families and the scholarship from our college helped them a lot

Campus Life :

Yeah its too worth of conducting extra-curricular in our college.During my first year i used to speak english not so fluently.During the extracurricular activities like rotract club,leo club,yoyo club,ISTE,ECSTA and so on .They made us to speak in english during that time.Now i can speak english better than what i am in first year.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel and mess facilities are not upto the mark . The first thing i felt bad was the food .since i am from a different location and when i stayed in college hostel which is in different location the food is totally different and i felt really bad :-(

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

The base of the college is from our alumini.They encourages us By conducting the THIRAN program.Its a motivation program in which the students who are all interested must present a project in front of the alumini and this helped us a lot . Even many of our alumini are the CEO of MNC'S .They help us by conducting campus recruitment in our college

Exam Structure :

The exam structure is for 100marks.There will be 10 Two marks questions and 5 Times marks questions.There will be no choice questions for 2 Marks.All the questions should be answered.For 16 marks questions,its a either or choice .sometimes this 16 Marks q

Average college but a good place to study on your own

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Placement Experience:

Students who pursuing five and sixth semesters onwards are eligible to attend the placements and internship. Mostly the IT companies are visited frequently and core companies are low. The Highest package is 9LPA. The percentage of college placement is 78 percent. I planned to make higher studies after my degree.

Reality of Veltech

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Best place ever visited. My Sweet College.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
