- I liked the college environment and labs in our department
- The faculty were well educated and they teach lot of technical things in and outside the syllabus
Dislikes
- Faculty would allot more assignments to complete.
- Students would have lesser freedom to enjoy the college life
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum includes the subjects and topics which specifically necessary for the students to gain knowledge over the subject and technical skills.I think there should be a little more changes in the curriculum regarding the technical skills.The semesters were held for every 6 months time period,The 2 mid internal exams were held in during the sem period with a time gap of one and half month.The difficulty level of the exams was a bit easier.
Internships Opportunities :
I have completed my internships in The company named Pantech solutions which was offered by our college without any stipend and I have also completed my internship in excelR government website which was offered by our college.
Placement Experience :
Students would get eligible for the placements after completing the 6th semester.There were few companies which were visited our college namely Tech Mahindra,Asian paints,Amar raja,Ceat tyres etc.Students who were eligible for placements would get an minimum package of 4LPA and the last year highest package was 20LPA.More than 50% of students would get placed in the placements.My plans after getting the degree is to do masters.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I have been paying 75k per year because I am management quota,The government would pay you 58k per year if you got a government seat.This college would offer internships from the 2nd year itself.The fee structure for all the categories were same,It would varies for just management quota students.My friends who were came in merit were getting 58k of scholarship which was again paid to the college and and they are still paying an amount of 12k for Lab and other necessary things.
Campus Life :
I have experienced a good life in the college,The college would conduct International Telugu mahasabhalu every year in the month of January and conduct every festival.There were many movie promotions taken place in our college.There was a event called mythri which was conducted for every three years in a grand way.There was a tech fest called MEDHA in which students can enchance their technical skills.The college had clubs like NCC and NSS and the sports were open for all on based upon their interest.There was a GIET app in both google playstore and App Store,which helps the student to know about their standards.
Admission :
I have chosen this college because of the greenery and environment.Many colleges were constructed in a closed environment without even a proper ventilation.I think a student can study well only if he's placed in a good environment.
Faculty :
The faculty were very friendly,they always monitor you and clarify the doubts you were facing in the subject and they even give good guidance to grow well in your educational and personal life.I like one my faculty Adapa Sudheer because of the technical knowledge he posses and the guidance's he gives.There were 8 semesters in the four years course.Each semester is held for 6months time period,each semester consists of two mid paper exam and one Semester exam for each subject respectively.
