Course Curriculum Overview :

English honours is one of the most beautiful courses out there specially for the students who are inclined towards litterature it offers a variety of litterature understanding to students like European classical literature and Indian classical Litterature and introduction to literary studies

Class Size : 80Course Fees : INR 15000 per year

Placement Experience :

It does offer placement but that is not accessible for everyone it depends on students and their ability to get a job because it differs from student to student and their ability for job holding and their 3 year hardwork

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The annual fee is 15498 per annum for my course English honours it's very affordable and accessible for all the students because it's a government institutions and one of the recognised college of delhi university

Campus Life :

Campus Life is amazing it has a beautiful campus with vibrant energy the activities it hold are also on another level the overall campus Life of ramjas is also very nice the fest season is also one of the beautiful thing to witness here

Admission :

I choose this college out of other college because the exposure is very nice the crowd is amazing the faculties and seniors are also overwhelming the campus Life is amazing the fest season is also one of the beautiful thing to witness

Faculty :

Faculties are very nice they are very approachable and helpful towards students the exam system consists of two examination in one semester internal and external internal consists of tests and assignment and external consists of exams

Maitreyi College is Underrated, A VERY NICE EXPERIENCE

Course Curriculum Overview:

Coming to english hons I had a little different expectations and this turned out to be a little different, This course is too much till where I have studied is inclined towards literature which sometimes students do not like. There are many subjects inside the core, but subjects like literary studies caught lot of attention due to it's attractiveness and different perspectives. Sometimes things go a lot off syllabus which disrupts mindful learning but thankgod it's just 30-40% of it.

The course curriculum is not updated . Teachers uses old method of teaching on pen and paper. Like in statistics now various tools are available in market and instead of making us learn those tools teachers are teaching the most basic things on pen and paper.But the course is very demanding nowadays.

Good and bad's of my college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is basically design to study economics in a depth so that the understanding of student related to world economic, how economics work , how it affect an individual etc increase and he can work more efficiently to give theories and work in the companies related to economics. The curriculum includes value added course and skill enhanced courses that help us to learn different types of skills that are required in the real world applications. Improvement in these can be done by asking the student to apply all these into real life and connect students with the real life approaches related to the course. For core subjects the timing of paper is 3 hours and for sec and vac courses the timing of paper is 1 hour.

Life as a student in DU

Course Curriculum Overview:

1) i had interest in history from my class 11th. I wanted to further increase my knowledge ane thus accepted my course 2) the course not only prepares u to give exams but actualy leads u to study many papers, books that expands your understanding of the course and also real life challneges where u have to apply it. It also prepares you for further academic pursuits 3) they can opt for more practical learning apart from classroom learning, they can make field trips and let student know about research also 4) the end exams start after 4-5 months of sem start. U are given well enough time to prepare gradually. The assignments, test can make it hectic but if u complete the given work in time, u can prepare well enough for the exams and do well.
