Dislikes

  • Overcrowded: too many people. It can't really accommodate that many students but still has given admission to all kinds of kids.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is relevant in all scopes. Execpt for the subject yoga. Wherein we have to learn mantras and stuff. I mena if it were only aadanas and their names. Then it would have been okay.but since they make us learn so mantras(very difficult to do so) and God knows what these mantras mean. Therefore it created a problem.

Placement Experience :

A lot of companies come to our college. Basically there are 3 positions as for placement. Operational trainee. Management trainee. Corporate trainee. Corporate is the best. Management is also very good. It's actually the goal of many people. Corporate trainee is not good. Okayish

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

79000 each semester. For 6 semesters. In 3 years. So it is 158000 for 1 year and in total it's 474000 for 3 years. Fees has to be paid before the commencement of that semester. Each semsster is of around 6 months.

Campus Life :

The overall college experiennce is good. Though it's very tiring. The hostels are not good. Very very out dated. Too many insects. Hostels(especially boys hostel) they don't need maintenance. They actually need to redo the hostel building. And there is no wifi in hostel

Hostel Facilities :

95000 for triple sharing rooms. 150000 for single seater ac rooms. Boys have this. Girls have flats to live in. Even though fees is same. Hostel really really really need to be broken down and rebuilt again.

Admission :

I only applied to this college in nchm counselling. So I got this college. It is said to be the best in the country so I took admission. Admisioon process is simple just give the nchmct exam. Then participate in the counselling. And you will be allotted the college. Submit the documents stated during the counselling during physical reporting and you are good to go

Faculty :

The faculty to student ratio is horrible. 70:1 for theory classes and 56:1 for practical classes this is just rough idea of the ratio. There is one midterm easch semester and then a term end exam which is under the nchmct. Midterm is taken by college itself

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements in the final year but students can earn from day 1 by indulging themselves in ODC(outdoor catering) in which the college will let you know about the job and you can go to a particular event and can earn a stipend from 700-1200 per day. Every year the college offers students the to run a food stall inside the college premises which is known as a food fest in which students can work in team and can earn money as well. The average placement package is 6,00,000 p.a. and can go as high as 12,00,000 and of course as you get more experienced you get paid accordingly. The college provides 100% which means every student will sit in the interviews and can get the job accordingly to their expertise. As I am interested in the kitchen department I will find a job in the same department.

Remarks:

The college management is poor, takes a lot of time to get a new machine in a kitchen if an old one gives away. In short, it's a good college, but I'd suggest to go to private colleges owned by Oberoi or ITC or Taj. They are better in terms of quality of
