Course Curriculum Overview :

I really want to get into management and develop a better personality and they are doing a great job at teaching the same , They teach based on real life problems which is really good They should make theory classes more fun and improve in that Exams are quite easy in my opinion and with decent studying you can clear them

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

97k for first semester and 79k for each semester after this , 5 lakh approx total course fees , admission fee - 1600 Enrollment - 1600 JNU fee - 10215 Exam fee - 3000 (each semester) Institutional fee - 5000 (each semester) Mid term exam fee - 1000 (each semester) Caution fee - 8000

Campus Life :

For now we had a youth festival and very few events most events are for hostel students which actually sucks , I have never been to the Library but it looks really small , there isn't much technology and no air conditioning, they should improve their infrastructure There are many clubs but I didn't see a sports club yet

Admission :

It's the best college in india if not the best for hotel management I gave the entrance exam in this branch is the hardest to get into and I got into it somehow so I had to choose it You have to give nchmct-jee exam for entrance

Faculty :

Faculty is overall nice and kind and easy to approach The kitchen staff in general is really nice to us Front office staff isn't as nice and can be rude over minimal stuff and sometimes isn't as understanding for example - I got wet in the rain while coming to college and my shirt got dirty, and the teacher asked me to stand out for a bit as I am not "well dressed" and later listened to me but he was kinda rude There are mid semester exams and final semester exams , but most of the time we are working on assignments and journals

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements in the final year but students can earn from day 1 by indulging themselves in ODC(outdoor catering) in which the college will let you know about the job and you can go to a particular event and can earn a stipend from 700-1200 per day. Every year the college offers students the to run a food stall inside the college premises which is known as a food fest in which students can work in team and can earn money as well. The average placement package is 6,00,000 p.a. and can go as high as 12,00,000 and of course as you get more experienced you get paid accordingly. The college provides 100% which means every student will sit in the interviews and can get the job accordingly to their expertise. As I am interested in the kitchen department I will find a job in the same department.

Remarks:

The college management is poor, takes a lot of time to get a new machine in a kitchen if an old one gives away. In short, it's a good college, but I'd suggest to go to private colleges owned by Oberoi or ITC or Taj. They are better in terms of quality of
