An insight into the best HM college in India

Course Curriculum Overview :

Since we get to have practical classes everyday, the real life application becomes easier. The syllabus is really comprehensive and gives us a really well insight of the actual work. Food production especially is one of my favs and the reason I joined this Institute.

Internships Opportunities :

Talking about industrial training, the best companies come here for internship. Making it a really good option for students. The best hotels prefer taking students from this college for obvious reasons.

Placement Experience :

The main reason of me joining this Institute instead of any other HM college is the placements. Be it any other Institute but this one offers campus placements at about 97-98% rate. And apart from campus placement for a walk in interview, this college has the best goodwill.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The yearly fees for the first year is 1,76,515 although for the next to years it is 1,58,000(79000 each semester). The fees isn't increasing rather a little less as conpared to the first year. Tution fee for 2!nd and 3rd year is 70,000 exam fee being 3000 and Institutional fee 5000 and a minimal fee of 1000 for mid term exams.

Campus Life :

Offers huge opportunities several events and gives a really good exposure. The crowd is awesome and one if the most passionate people join tge Institute. There are many clubs and events for students to have an interactive time.

Admission :

Along with this college I applied for IPU university yet this one was my first priority being the best hm college in the country with sky high placements and such good exposure. I knew this is where I belong.

Faculty :

The faculty is amazing especially the food production team our HODs, teachers. The maintain a really nice and friendly relationship with the students. The exams are okay but not that easy, one has to study a bit. The syllabus is doable a little effort is enough but yet one has to be efficient and work hard to stand out and stand forth.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements in the final year but students can earn from day 1 by indulging themselves in ODC(outdoor catering) in which the college will let you know about the job and you can go to a particular event and can earn a stipend from 700-1200 per day. Every year the college offers students the to run a food stall inside the college premises which is known as a food fest in which students can work in team and can earn money as well. The average placement package is 6,00,000 p.a. and can go as high as 12,00,000 and of course as you get more experienced you get paid accordingly. The college provides 100% which means every student will sit in the interviews and can get the job accordingly to their expertise. As I am interested in the kitchen department I will find a job in the same department.

Remarks:

The college management is poor, takes a lot of time to get a new machine in a kitchen if an old one gives away. In short, it's a good college, but I'd suggest to go to private colleges owned by Oberoi or ITC or Taj. They are better in terms of quality of
