Course Curriculum Overview :

See this course is not a rocket science if you are interested in hospitality and management you can definitely rock in this. As I am interested to greet people and cooking so I've opted for this course. This course is helping me in improving my communication skills as well as removing my hesitation to talk to any random person.

Internships Opportunities :

Every students should have to go for the IT i.e. Industrial training in the 2nd year. It is compulsory for all as it is a part of the course. Every students should choose there preferable hotels if they crack the interview they go to the hotel for approx 5 to 6 months of training their in all the departments. Students get 5000-10000 as a stipend there very from hotels to hotels

Placement Experience :

The students will be eligible to sit in the placement from the 3rd year i.e. 5th semester. Numerous of companies even the most famous companies visited to give placements. Some of them are ITC, HAAYAT, MARRIOTT, IHCL, IHG, ACCOR etc. Average package for the MT program would be 6 lakhs and for the OT program in 4 lakhs per annum. I will definitely go for the college placement but some students go for the higher studies.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

IHM Pusa is the India's number 1 hotel management institute providing a handsome amount of package to its students. The average placement is approx 6 lakhs per annum whereas highest is 8 lakhs and the lowest was 4 lakhs approx in the year 2023. About hostel, there is two types of rooms available, single seater as well as triple. The single seater is provided with AC but there is no AC in triple seaters. The charge for a single seater hostel room is 150000 whereas for the triple it is 95000 only. The total fees for BSc HHA of 2024-27 is around 500000. I hope this is enough for all to understand about the fee structure in IHM PUSA.

Campus Life :

As I am in my 1st year as well as 1st semester so I am not able to give more in that but if I talk about the hostel it is great. They provide a great meal to us as well as day scholars. Day scholars are only eligible for the lunch but we, hostelers are eligible for all the meals including breakfast, Lunch, high tea and dinner. College also provided us the facility of theme dinner as of our state. So it is a great experience.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facilities are fine. We get both hot and cold water 24*7 Meals include breakfast, Lunch, High tea and dinner. Single rooms are air conditioning rooms. We have also provided a badminton court, a volleyball court and table tennis. There is also the facility of gym. If someone is looking for room or pg there are some regions like todapur and Patel nagar. Students can also avail rooms there at a cheap price if they search well.

Admission :

I've gone for this college because this is the India's number 1 hotel management college and yes it also stands on that aspect.See I scored air 177 in the exam which is conducted by NCHM so yeah there was no option to get rejected from any other institution as other institutes also approched me to join them but I go for IHM PUSA

Faculty :

Facilities are so well educated and experienced. As most of them are hoteliers themselves and graduated from the very same institute so there is no any issue with it. The faculty members are also cooperative and open to feedback. The course and its subjects are also easy to understand. I mean the teachers make it easy to understand it so. Examination happened at the right time strictly with a proper manner and the marking scheme is not so strictly checking in copy the teachers are lineant in that.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements in the final year but students can earn from day 1 by indulging themselves in ODC(outdoor catering) in which the college will let you know about the job and you can go to a particular event and can earn a stipend from 700-1200 per day. Every year the college offers students the to run a food stall inside the college premises which is known as a food fest in which students can work in team and can earn money as well. The average placement package is 6,00,000 p.a. and can go as high as 12,00,000 and of course as you get more experienced you get paid accordingly. The college provides 100% which means every student will sit in the interviews and can get the job accordingly to their expertise. As I am interested in the kitchen department I will find a job in the same department.

Remarks:

The college management is poor, takes a lot of time to get a new machine in a kitchen if an old one gives away. In short, it's a good college, but I'd suggest to go to private colleges owned by Oberoi or ITC or Taj. They are better in terms of quality of
