- The politics culture is one thing i disliked most. During that time college is all messy, dirty and nossy.
- The adminstration staff is too rude and will always tell you to come later for the work. It is so frustrating to deal with those people.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I was studying psychology. I must say it is more of a practical based exam in this college it was done in a very efficient way we have a lot of exposure to the practical side of the subject and it is a very good thing other than this the faculty members were very experienced and we can have a deep knowledge of the theory part as well there are subjects like sec and vac which are most related to the real world application Talking about teaching methods teachers are very kind and helpful they will change their methods according to students how they won't them to teach. I remember once I told my teacher that I am not able to grab things in oral method so switched it to bored and marker and PPT style. Talking about frequent timing of exams you can say a semester is around 5 months in which the fifth month is designated to the exams you can save for 8 or 10 days it is mostly practical exams and then for the restaurants there are theory exams. The exam time for 3 hours were given three writer exams in this all. we were also given a plenty of holidays like 23 or 4 for preparation so its also good thing.
Internships Opportunities :
There are a lot of internship of positives in my college my college you should type with different organisations which are private and government also. I have done a lot of internship with were provided to me by college if I would recall then there is a internship with nets to it India foundation in which I got a chance to meet ambassadors and chief justice of other countries like France Russia and Ukraine and it was a very good experience. Other than this I have also done a internship at NHRC which is a government organisation and i did a 2 week internship there and it is also a great opportunity for me to meet very talented and big persons like chief justice of jailers of the hard jail or supreme court and all those and it was a great experience.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There is concession on fees on the basis of category or else. I paid around 9k in 1st year, around 10k in second year and 12 k in final year of my college. Also there is an examination fees in each semester which varies according to subjects and mainly practicals. For Psychology department it varies from 1700-2200 per semester. College also provides scholarships to students who are good in studies and have low socio-economic status. I also applied for a scholarship once and my full fees was given back to me.
Campus Life :
Campus life is moderate the the coal is campus is not so big but it is enough to enjoy because it is not the college it is the social status or I can see social groups oo friend groups what makes your college experience great. Talking about the social expected club involvement there are a lot of clubs and societies in college I must that 24 or 25 around clubs and societies and you have a chance to get a lot of exposure from the societies. I was also part of psychology department society which is Psych and it is so fun we use to organised events freshers parties farewell parties and all and annual day functions also so talking about a social status it is very good infrastructure is also good they there is everything present for the students to live a healthy and comfortable experience.
Admission :
Okay so firstly thing to be honest I choose this causing this college because in Delhi University there are not so much college were offering applied psychology course to boys these courses are mostly resolved for girls colleges so honestly I didn't choose the course and college I just came here by chance but after coming to this college I realise a lot of things which are perfect or I can say better from other colleges one of the most perfect thing is that it is a evening College to do my own self study and practical work as I said this is a practical course so I have to do my research and all which I think I won't be able to do in morning because in morning colleges there classes from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in evening and that's a lot and that's why this is a good college if you want to do something by own.
Faculty :
Faculty is nice, experienced and very kind and helpful. Course structure There are 3 compulsory subject ( DSC ) 1 GE subject which we choose from other courses. ( Example:- I am a student of psychology but I'll choose a subject of English honours for history honour anything) Other than this there is a SEC which is a practical subject and there is no exam for that and there is a VAC( value added course )which is again a subject which we choose from other departments and the last is AEC which is Hindi or environmental studies we have to choose one from these two. Marking is done into two parts first is a practical which is of 40 marks and then other one is a theory exam which is of 90 marks.
