- The campus of the University is one of the best things things, it is spread in over 650 acres of land.
- One of the biggest perk of a Central University is that people from all over the country come here to study, which is a great thing from the point of network building.
Dislikes
- Their ain't much things to dislike in the university, things are getting better day by day but we still lack something including good campus placements
- The exposure to industries is less, Visits, guest lectures etc doesn't happen on daily basis
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is updated ones in few years. The present curriculum is enough to stay relevant with the present state of the real world industry. The course doesn't focus on any one aspect of the media industry instead it prepares you for all the different areas and aspects.
Internships Opportunities :
Students get time for internships during the semester break and vacation every year. The students of our department have done internship in various media houses including Dainik bhaskar, Nayi duniya, Patrika, times of india, Zee news DD national etc
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
My course is a 2 year PG course which is divided in 4 semesters. The fee taken is different for every semester. Rs 4800, 2705, 3500, 4050 for semester 1 to 4 respectively. The fee paid is same for all the categories. The students can get scholarship benifits by different scholarship programmes of Central as well as the state government. The amount of scholarship is nearly around the amount paid every year.
Campus Life :
The campus life is one of the best part of studying of the university. There are multiple clubs and teams to join including the music club, drama club and the magazine club. A lot of events and fest take place every year including the celebration of almost every festival and fest of every school of the university. The campus also have a cricket ground, tennis and badminton court, basketball court and football and hockey ground
Admission :
The eligibility for taking admission is one needs the write the CUET exam and register for the university, after that the admission is done on the basis of merit list. The admission process includes of online registration then ofline counseling and document verification. The cutoffs change every year. I applied only of this university as it was not very far from my native place, and is one of the best options to study in central India
Faculty :
In our department there are total 6 faculties including all category of mentors and professors, and the number of total students every course and year is arround 250, which makes the faculty to student ratio of arround 1:40. There are total 3 exams conducted in every semester including to internals and 1 semester exam, the difficulty level of the exams is moderate.
