Dislikes

  • Outer parking must be developed. In rainy seasons it gets filled with water.
  • Sports facilities in college must be increased.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum usually stays aligned with university guidelines. Ensuring students learn engineering principles and moral values. Everything is technologically oriented. The curriculum genrally provides a well rounded education covering lab theory and works experience etc. core engineering principles are covered in college. Elective specification subjest are limited.

Internships Opportunities :

Various companies offer internships in college. As i am in 2nd year i donot have idea of companies which provide internships. But i can definitely tell that various known govt companies and private companies provide. Internahips and jobs for students.

Placement Experience :

The placement in college is good. Various known companies offers campus placement. The average package is 4 to 5 lakhs. The underrated companies offers great placements. Various national and multinational companies offers the placement. Students become eligible for placement in 7th semester. Ongc, BP Sangale construction, and various other companies offers placement

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

As i haven't opted any scholarship my fees is 148000 and obc category has around 84000. Other than govt scholarships colleges provides various private scholarships from ongc adani groups etc. which is better for open categories.

Campus Life :

The overall experience in college is best. It feels like home. Various social activities are taken in college through Nss and aicte in college. Which creates great impact on college life. The infra in college is very good and overwhelming. Modern aminities are present in college. Has nice infra.

Admission :

I choose KKWIEER because it has cultural diversity. It provides a balanced student teacher connection. It offers a mix balance of teacher experience affordable tution fees. College has most of the facilities well developed labs and better affordability. I narrowly missed the cutoff of kj somaiya college so i opted KKWIEER. I realised my preparation lack in some things so this was better college for my improvement.

Faculty :

For every 30 students there is one faculty. Most of the faculty members have done phd and mtech. They bring in a mix of academics and industry experience. College has semester pattern. Autonomy structure is best in this college. Marking scheme for autonomy is 20 internal 20 insem and endsem of 60 so it makes easy for students to study and score.

Interview Experience :

Yes i faced group discussion but there was no written test or interview. My friends also took the admission in this college. This was the best decision we took. The process of admission is made very easy through jee and mhtcet exams

Other Applied Colleges

MET's Institute of Engineering - [MET] | Bachelor of Engineering [BE] (Civil Engineering)

MET was too far and KKWIEER IS FAR BETTER THAN MET

Students become eligible for placement from 7th sem but the training and stuff starts from 5th sem onwards. I don't really know much about the placements since I'm not planning on doing job after graduation and probably gonna do masters in the future.

Course Curriculum Overview:

So to be honest B.E course is a 4 years engineering course and it is not that easy and not too hard also. It needs a lot of focus, hardwork and practice to clear all exams. There are bunch of students who takes admission in B.E in first year but most of the students do back off in second year or some of them gets failed and gets an year drop. B.E course can be more efficient if we follow the teaching pattern like abroads. Less theory more practicals for students to understand properly.

From 7th and majorly form the 8th semester the students become eligible for the campus placement. Every year many companies visit our college like Goldman Sachs, Google, Infosys ,TCS , oracle, etc and offer a great amount of package to many students many students even get PPO. The highest package of this year was somewhere 61LPA and the average was 9 LPA. Somewhere around 82-83% students were placed this year and with good amount of packages My plan after getting the degree is pursuing a master's degree in abroad
