  • They need to improve many aspects of the labs and classrooms, such as installing basins and replacing the taps in some labs. Sometimes, chemicals are not available for practicals.
  • They can improve the classroom benches. The wifi on some floors is not working properly. The library is small, and the washrooms are not clean. The water purifier is also inadequate.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I have always been very curious about the pharmaceutical field due to the preparation of medicines and the knowledge related to health and daily life, which I enjoy. The college offers many extracurricular activities that improve character, communication and confidence, helping us gain knowledge in this field. Activities include poster presentations z debate competitions, sports and seminars. They should arrange more industrial visits to help students secure internship. In teaching, the faculty mostly covers topics from syllabus. The exams are at an intermediate level

Internships Opportunities :

The college primarily facilitates internship for students, but you also need to approach companies for internship opportunities. Currently, I am in my third year and Don't know much about it yet, as we will undertake internship in the 6th semester, which is compulsory for all students. We have the chance to intern at companies like Glenmark

Placement Experience :

Students become eligible for campus placements starting from their final year, and you must complete an internship in the third year. Currently, around 5-6 campus drives have taken place from 2022-2024. Companies like Advantmed, IKS, Glenmark and other reputed firms also conduct campus pool drives. Most companies offer position such as QC,QA,MR, medical coder and other jobs, with a minimum package of 3-4LPA. About 30-40% of students get selected during campus placements. My plan after graduation is to pursue higher education.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I pay an annual fee of 109500, while my fee for the first year was 119500. The registration fees is around 500at time of admission. The yearly fees include tuition, sports fees, uniform fees, and other charges. There are different fee structure for management and various categories. I pay fees for the management (open) category, while SC,ST,EWS and TFWS categories have lower fees, ranging from 40000-60000. You can receive a scholarship if you do not gain admission through the management category.

Campus Life :

The college arrange many events and celebrates festivals like Ganpati, Navratri and Shiv jayanti very well. The library has many books, both old and new editions, but there are limited copies, which sometimes makes it difficult to obtain books. It also has a good reading room. One classroom is equipped with sense board, and some other classrooms have projectors. There are nets for cricket and football hrot, along with available sports eat. The college also organizes a three-day sports event that includes all departments m NSS type groups are also active on campus

Admission :

The criteria for B pharm admission depends on the CET score. At the time of my admission, the cutoff was 87 percentile. For D pharm, you can gain admission based on your 12th grade marks, and for M pharm, admission is based on the GPAT score. Some admissions can also be made through management quota. I didn't get into other colleges due to slow CET score. You need to score above the cutoff to gain admission to your preferred college.

Faculty :

The faculty's relationship with students is very good and mostly depends on students' behaviour toward teacher. Most of the teachers have strong teaching skills and a helpful nature, assisting with practicals that help us gain industrial knowledge. One faculty member I particularly like is Dr. Vaibhav Gawde; he is highly knowledgeable and has conducted extensive restin pharmaceuticals. There is no faculty member I dislike. Semester exams are quite difficult, as they are set by SPPU, whole sessional exams are average and not very hard.

Placement Experience:

Yearly most students give good placement from college. Placement depends on the result of the final year and the performance of the student. Many good job offers are available after completing this course. According to previous students, they have 7-15 lakh package. So many pharmaceutical companies are offered for students who pass out from this college. If students pass out with first-class and DICSTINTION they definitely achieve good placement. I want to work in a professional company after completing my course.
