Collaborative Course Review @ALC

Dislikes

  • Attendance percentage can be a bit tacky
  • Shifting classes are a bit challenging if you are someone who's not into it

Course Curriculum Overview :

My course offers four semesters in classrooms and last two semesters for apprenticeship which connects us with the industry and helps us learn and as well as experience the work once we complete the apprenticeship we will be given a chance to decide for a placement

Internships Opportunities :

Recently we got an offer from jio for role of supervisor executive as a part time as well as an internship we often get various internship from various companies and very much invested into the skill courses from the state government as well as various skilling apps

Placement Experience :

Coming from a collaborative course we are offered with the placement from the logistics sector skill council where as, I often get flooded with the WhatsApp messages in groups stating the selection of students from our college into various companies through the placement cell of our college, it is renowned that a good amount of students are placed into the reputed companies.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

For odd Semester it's 40000/- and for even Semester it's 30000/- For Semester End Examinations an amount of 750/- 800/- is to be paid. Coming from a collaborative course, we have this structure but the usual courses are free for scholarship applications, only some selective traditional courses has the opportunity to avail the scholarships

Campus Life :

Each academic year consists of annual fest which is more like a seminar or a event conducted by the department individually and the students often engage into the annual events such as ethnic day and spoorthi which is the cultural event it encourages the talents of youngsters and these are dedicated to the college students itself where as the department fest invite students from other colleges to increase communication and meeting new personalities. Various college club such as magic youth and AICUF are placed within the college under a separate building to encourage the social activities by the student and the welfare for the society

Admission :

Admission to this college is very simple as it requires application and payment of some amount I was charged 5000 rupees to secure my seat and after that a personal interview is scheduled and once upon finishing that we are asked to sign the form consisting rules and regulations of the college and the course, it was as simple as that.

Faculty :

Faculties are best mentors, Ready to guide you upon your reach. Alot to learn from the experienced faculty, not just the subjects but also the perspectives of life. We write 2 Mids and 1 Sem End exam with the papers made by the college for mids and sem end by Krishna university. Exam is for 100 marks each subject

Interview Experience :

I was called in for a personal interview where I was asked personal questions such as my background and my future ambitions and goals and how my course would help me achieve that and how relevant am I to this course and how suitable I am to this they also ask me about the do's and don'ts for a student with in the college after getting a brief explanation of the college code and conduct it was more like a test of understanding how much I want myself into the college rules and regulations they maintain discipline and confidentiality with in the college code which is very respectful of them.

Remarks:

The college is great in overall personality development and discipline. I had v bad stage fear since school days but due to the weekly sessions, now I don't have any fear to speak even in front of 1000 people. Yeah, the college is bit strict with the in timings and out timings and no one is allowed outside in college hours, I felt it a bit strict bit thinking now I think it was necessary.
