GHRCEM PUNE, the truth

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is vast and includes maths( matrices, differential calculus, integral calculus, etc), physics, chemistry, English, foreign language, Web technology, data analytics, etc for 1st year BTech CSE( Artificial intelligence and machine learning). I think they could adjust the timings of the lectures. The curriculum prepares a student for the current market conditions. The frequency of the exams is moderate and the exams are not very hard

Internships Opportunities :

GHRCEM PUNE offers many internship opportunities for its students. This internship involves colabs with companies such as TCS, Infosys, Wipro and other large and famous companies involved in software development, data analysis. Students can get stipends of 5-15K/month.

Placement Experience :

The placements of the college are great. Many companies such as Amazon, consignee and others visit the campus during placement season. The average package is around 4-5 lpa and the highest package ever offered was 45LPA.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees I paid for 1st year is 97777 as I am an EWS candidate but for open category, the fees would have been 155000 and for SC/ST the fees would be even less, for girl candidates it was around 25000. The fees is pretty normal compared to other private BTech colleges in Maharashtra.

Campus Life :

There are many fests held in the college, some of which are Nryutyakala, Gaming, etc. There are many books available in library. The facilities in the classrooms are adequate. The social life in the college is amazing. There are also many extracurricular activities held in the college. There are also a lot of clubs in the college so one will find something that suits their intrest.

Admission :

For the percentile score I got, this college was the best I could get. I chose this college over other colleges due to it's placement record. This college is also autonomous so that's a plus point. The admission process is done through CAP rounds.

Faculty :

The faculty is very friendly and easy to approach. They solve every doubt you ask to them and teach in an easy to understand way. You can also ask them to guide you on how to build your career as an engineer. There are CAE (Class assessment exams) and TAE( Teacher assessment exams), the college follows the criteria that people who score in the bottom 10% are failed and the remaining are passed. If you fail you can retake the exam, the exams are easy.

All faculties are good in college. But the campus is not so big. In one campus there is school for 1 to 10 standard. And in same campus there is an MBA college and also a college of 12 science, arts.

Remarks:

he placements were pretty well. There were many students who were placed in MNCs. Most of the companies were IT based companies. Amongst all, only 1 core electronics company came to our college for recruitments. The highest package was around 4 LAP. Our college also provides opportunities for other off-campus drives which took place nearer to Solapur. The companies that came to the campus were mainly MNCs providing an average package of 2.5 LPA which is pretty well for a fresher graduated from a non-government college
