Review of G. H. Raisoni College of Engineering and Management

Dislikes

  • I dislike the college placements and internship cell.
  • No encouragement for events and functions.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is relevant and is updated continuously according to the industry requirements which is a plus point. It makes students industry ready. We have exams every month which is really hectic.

Internships Opportunities :

There are many internship opportunities provided by this college which are available in the final year of your degree. Various companies from Pune visit this college to hire software engineers for internships.

Placement Experience :

After third year students become eligible for campus placments. Average packages backed are around 4 to 6 lpa. The highest package backed last year was 45 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed every year is around 60 to 70 percent.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

For Open Candidates: College Fees per year: 1,43,000 Tuition Fees: 56,000 Examination Fees: 8,500 For OBC Candidates: College Fees per year: 86,000 Tuition Fees: 56,000 Development Fees: 17,000 Examination Fees: 8,5000

Campus Life :

The name of the annual fest of our college is Antaragini. Sports activities like football, volleyball, cricket and swimming are encouraged in our college. There are many clubs that are active like AICC, GDG, Eureka and many more.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facility is fine. 4 students live in one room. The mess menu, food and quality is really average. Around 300 female students can be accomodated in the girls hostel. The hostel is there in the college campus itself.

Admission :

I had applied to JSPM College and my admission was confirmed but the branch i got was not which i wanted. I got rejected by many colleges due to the marks i recieved. Exams accepted for my course are mht-cet and JEE mains.

Faculty :

The faculty to student ratio is 1:60. The faculties are approachable and knowledgeable. They are really helpful. One of the best faculties is Balaji Wadkar Sir, he teaches really well. We have 3 internal exams and a semester end exam with external practical examinations.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The education in (ARMIET) alamuri ratnamala institute of engineering and technology is better than other colleges so I choose the b.tech course in the college I am very much interested in college civil engineering. The college provides highly qualified skillful and experienced professionals faculty. Faculty provide proper guidance to the students through their experience. The faculty members are helpful, supportive, and have a proper understanding of their area of expertise. The course is 4yeat full time there will be 2 semesters per year and the college conduct the mid exams which are very easy to pass.

All faculties are good in college. But the campus is not so big. In one campus there is school for 1 to 10 standard. And in same campus there is an MBA college and also a college of 12 science, arts.

Remarks:

he placements were pretty well. There were many students who were placed in MNCs. Most of the companies were IT based companies. Amongst all, only 1 core electronics company came to our college for recruitments. The highest package was around 4 LAP. Our college also provides opportunities for other off-campus drives which took place nearer to Solapur. The companies that came to the campus were mainly MNCs providing an average package of 2.5 LPA which is pretty well for a fresher graduated from a non-government college
