- Events are one of the highlights of Bennett university.
Dislikes
- Nothing much, but one thing that I dislike is the lack of competition between students.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Great faculty, superb labs, great study material, and many more. Bennett university has one of the best curriculum, which is really like ahead of its time rather that IIT following its old curriculum. We have super computer in our labs, and many more facilities. Each semester is divided into mid sem and end sem. Mid sem being 15 marks exam with duration of 1 hour, end sem of 3 hours. Other than that we have practicals, vivas and other various forms of assessments.
Internships Opportunities :
Bennett university provides students with great opportunities in internships. We have tieups with various foreign mnc's and companies. Students are provided with internships right from the second year.
Placement Experience :
After 3rd year, students are eligible for placements. We do have on campus placements. Various big companies like Microsoft, Google, Infosys, meta, and many more companies come to recruit students. Our college also provides with internship opportunities right from the end of 2nd year. Average package is around 7-8 lakhs
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees for BTECH-CSE this year is roughly around 4 lakhs. I have also applied for the hostel which includes another 1 lakh 80 thousand. The registration fees is 130000. You also get scholarship based on your boards and jee mains result. Minimum scholarship is 10% and can go as high as to 30%. I am not sure about the fees for obc or sc students.
Campus Life :
Annual events and cultural nights are one of the key highlights of Bennet university. Bluemoon, an event for the freshers was the recent event organised which was next level. We have events for every festival. There are lot of clubs to get into and provide you with wide variety of choices .
Hostel Facilities :
Hostels are in very great condition.1 room is shared between 3 students. We have ac in each room working 24/7. Mess food is very good. We are served 4times a day and also provides us with snacks. They also have a good menu
Admission :
Since I scored low in both jee mains and boards, I had to chose for private universities. I was looking for a university which is near my hometown. Then I visited various universities like Amity, galgotia, Shiv Nadar, Thappar. But Bennett university was the one that I liked among them so decided to chose it.
Faculty :
Faculty members are very experienced, friendly and always eager to listen to doubts of the students. Mr. Ketan Damji, our physics faculty is one of the best teacher I have ever studied with. We have normal semester wise exam in which one semester is divided into mid sem and end sem . For our python lectures and tutorials, we have 30, students per class, for physics and maths lectures we have 100 students.
