Remarks :

Though it's a girls college, we celebrate every festival with a lot of enthusiasm. Placement is very good at my college and you get a lot of opportunities to represent the college in sports or other technical events.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The college is now autonomous from the last 3 years so the syllabus is designed by the college faculties. The college faculties are very supportive and motivating. The curriculum is designed such that you can learn most of the latest technologies that companies usually demand to know also along with studies there are subjects which help to improve your personality.

Placement Experience :

The college placement is very good. According to last year it 85-86 %. Many Product based companies like Microsoft, Salesforce, Tiaa, Walmart, western digital, etc visit for campus placement as well as for internships. The stipend is also very good. Along with these nontechnical internships are also provided

College Events :

There are many technical and non-technical events which are celebrated in the college 1.Gandhar - cultural events (4 days) 2.Innovation- Technical events 3.Pentacle- sports events Along with these festivals like Dahihandi Garba night Dipotsav,etc are celebrated.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is a little bit expensive but the category concession and fees concession for poor students is available. Along with these, there are various scholarship programs like Leela Poonawala scholarship, Goldman Sachs scholarships, etc are provided.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Leela Poonawala scholarships Mercedes Benz scholarships Goldman Sachs scholarships are provided. For poor students Persistent scholarships Concession in tuition fees is provided Also, category concession according to Maharashtra govt is provided

Campus Life :

There are various clubs in college like drama club, Sports Club, astronomy club, python club, code club, debate club. Students from drama club participate in various drama competitions every year Students also participate in BAJA, Robocon competition. Sports like football, tennis, kabaddi, cricket, etc are played.

Hostel Facilities :

I have opted for the hostel. There are 3 hostels 1.Baya Karve hostel - Rent - Rs 80000( INCLUDING MESS) two Seater and three Seater rooms are available Intercom facility 2.Yashlakshmi hostel- Rent - around Rs 98000(including mess) 3.Divekar hostel- Rent - around Rs 110000(including mess)

External Expense : Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Alumni/Alumna :

Seniors are very helpful. You just need to approach the proper person for the proper advise. You need to build your network. You can anytime go and talk to them like friends they are very friendly and supportive.

Faculty :

The faculties are very supportive and motivating. They always motivate you to participate in various curricular and extracurricular activities. They will guide you throughout your journey of that competition and inspire you to do better and better.

LIFE at VIT

Placement Experience:

Students from the 7th semester onwards are eligible for campus placements. Core Biomedical companies like GE, Medtronics, biosense etc and IT companies like TCS, JIO, INFOSYS, CAPGEMINI etc Recruit Biomedical Engineers. Most Biomedical Students prefer Masters over placements. 80 percent of students from selected candidates get placed. I will go for Placements and I will get into post graduation after clearing GATE 2023.
