Remarks :
Horrible in terms of anything except academics. Good in academics. Well known especially for placements because they try to map most of the students to some company whether it is an on campus or off campus placement they participate in.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is a mix of updated and outdated information as far as practicality is concerned. The labs are not well furnished with the necessary equipments. The exam structure is just like any other college, 2 mid-term exams followed by 7/8 end exams each semester.
Placement Experience :
Placements are the prime reason for admission seekers in my college. A variety of technical and IT companies are always ready to host us but with not-so-great packages. No, they do not provide an internship.
College Events :
Events are not greatly encouraged in our college but yes, a few technical and cultural fests did take place. Ekathra- 2k15 and 2k17, Esayoga are some overall college events and departmental events respectively.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee structure is quite feasible and most of them are eligible for government reimbursement based on their EAMCET rank. I used to pay almost 80,000 per year and heard that it increased to 1,20,000 for our immediate juniors because of demand.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I haven't heard of any loan facility offered by my college but we always used to pay our fees to State Bank of Mysore and hence they might have some special loan grant for our college. 90% of the students admitted via EAMCET rank (A-category) used to get government reimbursement every year based on their EAMCET rank.
Campus Life :
I would honestly say my college is very poor at organizing any of these. They would never encourage us in terms of extracurricular activities and never ever focussed on improving our communication skills necessary for job purposes.
Alumni/Alumna :
We have many alumni groups; sectional, departmental and college level. Our alumni network is a very helpful batch and before our actual interviews, we had mock interviews conducted by them which were really helpful.
Faculty :
Faculty are a good storehouse of knowledge during my first 2 years and later in the final 2 years, they mapped us with professors without experience and fresh graduates which were quite bad. Overall, they are more theoretical and rote learning rather than focussing on meeting the industry demands.
