Course Curriculum Overview :

In this course we learn about our ancient way to treat patients that is AYURVEDA that's why I choose this course. As we study all types of Desiases we can connect it to real world situations also. The teaching should be more practical based so that student will get more scope. Exams conducted monthly and are on syllabus. Not that much difficult.

Internships Opportunities :

We complete internship in 1 year after 4.5 yrs of study. 6 months in college Hospital and 3 months in civil and 3 months in PHC. You have to clear your all exams from university to join internship. You get good stipend during your internship.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Per year tuition fees - 156000/- Caution fees - 30000 (all extra fees including) Category benefits are also added, you will get scholarship. As am from SC category I get full scholarship. My batchmates pay according to their category.

Campus Life :

Ganapati festival, Shivaji Maharaj jayanti, and other many program are conducted. All type of books based on medicine and treatment are available in library. We learn from smart board and have all medical equipments for better study. Volleyball, cricket and other many sports are also played by students. College conduct a camp for social awareness about Ayurveda.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel - We have a clean room in Hostel and have good electricity connectivity. Mess is good and variety of food is provided. For getting admission into hostel you have to pay approx 5000/month (including mess) . If not want to stay in hosel you can also go for room. Room availability is also in same amount.

Admission :

I completed 3 rounds for getting admission in BAMS. I found this college old and near to my city that's why I choose it. I don't got any rejections from other colleges, I don't found those colleges good so I came to this college in 3rd round. The student must be 12 PCB/PCMB pass out with above 50% in Board Exam. And came through the NEET exam with good score out of 720 marks. For Admission you must be ready with all necessary documents.

Faculty :

Not all faculties available in college but who's present they have great relationship with us. As 1st year student I like my Samhita department and Rachana department teacher because they teach in interesting way. 2 Semesters, 11 Periodic, and 1 University is conducted. Those who study good they easily pass all exams.

Other Applied Colleges

Maharashtra University of Health Sciences - [MUHS] | Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery [BAMS]

I had opted for this college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course is overall good and it makes you capable enough to earn good amount of money But for most of the people it is there second option they come here cause they were unable to get into MBBS But yup anyways if once you come over in this degree you choose it over time you will develop interest in it and you will start learning good things in here which will help you further in your life Exams Exams in Bams are not that difficult Internal exams are like you can clear them even in 1 day of study University exams are a bit tough for them u have to study for like a month or more or less depending on your capabilities Curriculum design is good in itself in its existing way But adding more of practical ways will help further

Course Curriculum Overview:

At start i wasnt sure i can do this course but during curriculum of 20 days of my first days of college some speakers was invited they motivated me that i can do much more than i think in this field. Medical field prepares you for the real world experience how youll handle the situation and patients totally depends on you. I think teaching faculties should also focus on why we are learning the subjects so that we also get that it is important for us to study it properly. So for our unit tests we get 15 mins for 15 marks questions. It is toally mcq based. Term exams we get 3 hours for 100 marks paper.
